I volunteered to chaperone the all school field trip.Apparantly most moms don't do that, as there were VERY few moms there....
You have to ask Quincie that question. She always tells me that I am the best mom.

lol, Ma!From what my kids tell me, I read to them at bedtime and I let him (ds) play video games. Keep in mind, he has to be good at school and at home all week, so he just plays on the weekends.
I speak their language. They babble and coo or make up words and mispronounce but I know exactly what they are saying. I can usually see what they are feeling just by looking at them too.
I'm not sure at the moment since I just asked Leanna who is sitting on the floor next to me, pouting, and she just scowled at me and said "You're not letting me play my games on the 'puter".Ok, maybe I redeemed myself because she now asked to play with Playdoh and I said yes.

for me--PROZAC!!for them--the fact that I am there for them at their parties, at home, and anywhere else they need me. I love mine very much!!
The fact that mine have made it to nearly grown, and they are still awesome in my eyes must mean something! They are a constant source of laughter for me...and it's with them, not at them! I am so proud of them, and love them even when they screw up!
That I set rules for my daughter, and don't just let her do things because other kids her age do.
Ma - that's hysterical! My son says: "You give me treats but you don't let me snack on them all day."I took him to Braum's today for the first time, and he had a double dip cone. We didn't have Braum's in Alaska. He told me Braum's is a really great place! Then of course he didn't want dinner. That's not my norm, but this move has been a big adjustment for him and I thought it was time to let loose a little bit.

Cos, not only do I do the "mommy things" (cook, clean, cuddle)...I am the fun one, and like to dance, and play fight, and be goofy...everything from being a dance instuctor from Russia, to playing mini sticks....
