Anyone watching? I am, especially the American league. I grew up with the Pirates, lived in Baltimore with the Orioles for 17 years and near the Yankees for 10. I have to say I'm still a Yankee fan at heart. You either love them or hate them. They are truly a class act and I admire that they look like professionals.

Glad everyone enjoys baseball, but fall is football season for me! I really HATE that the sports seasons overlap so much, now.

Yes!! Big Dodgers fan here! It’s the big reason I’m not getting anything else done around here…

Once the Phillies fell apart, I lost interest.

I'm not a baseball fan - especially on TV. It can get quite boring. Sometimes I'll watch it if someone else is watching.
I used to be a HUGE NFL fan. I'd bring my scrappy stuff into the dining room on Sundays and Mondays and watch the games while I was scrapping. Then we moved up here and didn't even have electricity for almost 2 months! We would go to the library parking lot where we could connect to the internet and had a cell signal and take care of things then come back home. LOL! We didn't get our own internet for about a year and then it was very limited and not very good. I think it was almost 2 years before we finally got the HughesNet dish. Now we have unlimited internet through the local electric company (VERY expensive but we really use it!) and we don't have slow downs or pauses or anything.
Then the players started kneeling and all that nonsense and it really upset me. And so I didn't watch much anymore. Now I'll watch the Thursday night games if I'm home and remember. I used to be a Redskins fan but they changed the name and they were constantly losing so I really lost interest. It seems to be much better now so I'm glad that I can still occasionally watch a game and enjoy it. But never like I used to.

I am originally from Minnesota-so a Twins fan. We also like to watch the Astros.
We live in Colorado, but who wants to be depressed by watching the Rockies? Yikes.
Anyway, without any of my teams left in it, I have moved on to football.

Huge Dodgers fan here! My Dad grew up when they were still in Brooklyn and continued on as a fan when they moved to LA. I was a huge Daddy's Girl - so anything he liked, I liked by default. I grew up during Fernandomania (was born in '81) and have followed along since I can remember. I feel close to my Dad when I watch games now... so even though he has passed, we still share that!
I think we are heading back to LA so we can clinch our trip to the World Series in front of the home team since COVID kept us from that in 2020!
Go BLUE!! Go Dodgers!!!

I watch baseball with my mom. She is 93 and we started to watch it with the TV muted. She says "the men announcers really have nothing to say" ha ha, We love football too so when the games overlap, she is ready to watch football saying she is tired of baseball.

This made me chuckle. My father in law always watched sports on mute. He had no time for any commentary.

My family used to live close together and we watched the Seahawks! (Years ago , Jim Zorn, Dave Krieg my favorite) Steve Largent). Then I moved and watched Payton Manning and Aaron Rogers, but I agree, Football has changed , in my opinion ,a not good way. I hate the controversy and show off selfish behavior. So I get bored fast. Still watch the Bills with my SIL , and the Jets sometimes!
I still Love Baseball. Been to many games. Favorite Team is the Angels! However I watch the Dodgers to see Shoei Ohtani ! I have followed him for years!

I love my Brewers. I went to 10 games this season and one of them was the 2nd game of the playoffs, the game we won. I had several friends ask me to go again on Wednesday but my nephew had a soccer game and it is his senior year. They asked because my record this season was 8-2. I do not have cable so I listen to most games on the radio. Bob Uecker still calls a few innings at home games and he is a hoot to listen to. I am sad that they lost in the first round of the playoffs this season but am hopeful that they can have a better run in the next few years with Yeli coming back next year (it sounds like his surgery was very successful) and Woody too (Brandon Woodruff). I will probably watch some of the World Series because those games are on network TV. I will also revolt if Brice Turang does not win the Gold Glove for 2nd base.

You know I'm rooting for my Mets! I worked all three home games of the NLCS and boy, was it a roller coaster! We lost the first 2 games but last night was go big or go home and we (I say we because they are my coworkers, hahaha!) went big and won. I was doing the raffle booth all three games (so no wheelchairs) but I could only see bits of the game on TV. It was exciting though. The Temptations sang the National Anthem and then My Girl because that is Francisco Lindor's walk-up song. Later after my raffle shift was over and I was on elevator and goodnight duty as I was walking through the stadium, the 8th inning karaoke song was Don't Stop Believing (because of the Ya Gotta Believe motto) and I'm speed walking through the stadium, singing at the top of my lungs and thinking, this is my office LOL! It was wild. DD and her BFF worked handing out the rally towels and then stayed to see the last 2 innings. She said they had fireworks when the game ended and I had no idea. I heard and felt rumbling but thought it was the block party they had outside the stadium. Before we all left to go home, my boss wanted a picture with everybody so I hope he sends it out soon. There are 2 Watch Parties scheduled for tomorrow and Monday but I didn't put in to work either of them. I'd rather a) be able to watch the game at home and b) I really have to get crackin' on this manuscript that is due the 28th and I'm not even halfway yet!
Let's go Mets!!

No comment on the Yankees
other than it would be fun to have another Subway Series like in 2000!!!
Half of my in-laws are Yankees fans, the other half Mets fans. When my FIL used to come visit I would razz him by putting his only grandson LOL in a Red Sox shirt (after the Red Sox won the World Series).

I have been such a BRO switching between my Mets and Jets the past few weeks. Who knew the Mets would make it this far but I'm gonna ride it out LOL.

The Mets were pretty good last night -- but I think the Dodgers just let them have it so then can win it at home!

I do my cross-stitching while watching TV whether regular shows or sports. I just can't sit and watch and not do something with my hands. Otherwise I'll just snack away LOL! It sounds like you had to go through so many hoops to get your own internet - ack! I'm glad it all works for you now. I like to watch the Sunday games and do my ironing too.
