Checking in with my Florida cherry friends. Everyone prepared or getting prepared? Looks like Milton is going to affect most, if not all, of us in some way. I don't know if it's the unusual sideways path, but this one has me feeling more jittery than usual
I was so grateful for the WCMD challenges over the weekend because they kept me busy and distracted LOL I have almost all of the challenges completed but I need to get them posted while we still have power and internet
I'm in Cape Coral, south of Tampa, on the coast. We're well stocked and prepared, on a freshwater canal and high elevation so storm surge is not a concern for me like others in my area. I'm in the medical field so we'll be working through tomorrow afternoon and then hunkering down. Stay safe friends, thinking about you all.

Stay safe, Stacy and all of the Florida cherries that will be affected in some way by Milton. Mother Nature is surely wreaking havoc on the world lately. Prayers for safety to all!

I just flew home from the Orlando area yesterday. Thankful to fly out before the next hurricane hits. My sister was doing hurricane prep yesterday. Praying all the Cherries are safe and not hit too hard. And my sister too.

We've been watching about it. Stay safe everyone!! I feel for everyone who's already been affected by Helene. Such loss of life and destruction. So sad. We had to change our travel plans to Indian rocks in a couple weeks. Allowing no tourists there. Now we're taking a couple cruises. Hope we're safe there. Hugs Florida Cherries!

We are preparing. I'm in Orlando, so Central Florida and we will have it coming through here for sure. Have generators and 5 gallons of gas so far. Doesn't look good.

My son is in the college program at Disney, so he'll probably be working straight through the craziness. The rational part of my brain, says it's fine, he is inland, and Disney is one of the safest places you can be in a storm. The irrational mom part of my brain is freaking out.
