Flashback Friday 8-23
Hello, Cherries!

So, how many Cherries spent their summers using these babies to make "popsicles"?

OCD is not an adjective.  It is not a personality quirk. It is not synonymous with being organized.  It is a complex and debilitating mental health illness that affects people of all ages and walks of life, and is defined by the presence of unwanted, intrusive thoughts and repetitive actions. 💙 I am an OCD warrior and I fight for my son. 💙

Truth be told, I still use these for freezing Coke throughout the year!

I should do that!  I rarely drink soda, so it would be perfect for when I get that craving!

It was!  We made our own root beer popsicles.  Do you remember when you could buy them?  I don't know if they are still out there or not.

My scrapping friend always tells me she didn't have a fun Mom either. She made them play outside, and not to bother her if it was rainy outdoors. I had an awesome mother and her mom lived with us until we were all past jr high. If one of them wasn't playing or teaching us something, the other one was. Even Dad taught us how to play cards and repair cars. Now I wonder if it wasn't tag teaming us so the others could get work done!!

We used cherry Kool-aid or coke.  Never heard of root beer popsicles. Sounds good though.  I haven't had a popsicle since I was a kid.  I prefer ice cream also.  I also haven't  had any type of soda since 1984.  However,  sweet tea is going death of me someday.  :)

Re: Flashback Friday 8-23
I remember having metal ones as a kid. Mom used koolaid in ours. Then I think I had these for my daughter. I was a single mom for 8 years barely squeaking by so this saved money and we’re fun too!

I just tossed these from my parents' basement...now I kinda wish I kept them. I also got rid of bundt pans and soooo much Tupperware!

Yep six years ago, we downsized (well, kind of).  Anyway gave these and a lot of other Tupperware to Goodwill. And, yes, my Bundt pan!  Can’t believe I did that!

Re: Flashback Friday 8-23
So I’m browsing here and my nine year old daughter sees the photo. She wants to know what it is. As soon as I explain it to her, she says she wants some and she’d make so many popsicles with it lol.
