I personally never had one, but my mom and Aunt each had one and I remember loving the "Evening" setting, because it glowed a soft bluish/pinkish color!

oh yes, we had one growing up and my sister who is a hair stylist now always had her face in it doing hair, makeup, etc.! LOL

I had something similar. I now use a makeup mirror with triple magnifying so I can see my wrinkles better !

I've seen them, mostly at garage sales. Never had one and my mom didn't either.
