was on the 29th , the surgery itself went great. The aftermath not so much. My blood pressure did not want to stay down and at about 10:00 pm that night I had a pretty bad what at first they were calling a seizure, then a spasm, then a seizure now they have decided it was a spasm for sure. They say it is caused by the brain trying to protect itself after they were in there poking around. So after the spasm they tell me that the tip of one of the coils is broke, but that is ok(it is, well alrighty then). Then next day as one of my docs is talking to me I mention it to him, he has no idea what I am talkin about. He brings up the report and is reading it, turns to me and asks "When did you have a chunt put in your brain?" Well doc it had to be aliens doing secret testing, yeah that's my story and I'm sticking to it...So doc says "really" Yes doc I am pretty sure I would know if I had a brain chunt. (They decided it has to be a chunt because it is calcified and the coils are new so it can't be one of them. Any way I have to talk to my surgeon about it when I see him. I still have the headache only worse and I still have the swishy noise in my left ear. Please keep the prayers coming the next surgery is suppose to be in about 2 weeks.

Oh my gosh Tammey... I am praying for you. I'm not surprised that your headache is worse and your blood pressure can't get under control (of course, bp is always high when you're in pain) with all the stress the medical staff is causing. I think for sure you should find out exactly what they did and what problems have been found before you go one. step. further. God bless and watch over you Tammey.

Wow, Tammey, what kind of surgery did you have? Sure am glad you are OK right now. They thought you have had a shunt put in? Curious indeed.
So what will they do in 2 weeks? Are you feeling OK other than the noise. Sure hope your Headache eases..prayers for you and sorry for the questions but maybe I missed some previous threads. Hang in there!

Will be keeping you in prayer that you'll recover well from this surgery and that the next goes well. I would definitely make sure everybody is on the same page before going any further also!

Hi Tammey - I would be surprised if you didn't have a headache with all of that going on. Can't believe that doc! I hope your headache goes away and the noise quiets down soon.
Sending prayers and positive thoughts your way!
I'm sorry your first surgery has made the headaches worse! That really sucks! I hope they can leave what's already done alone, as long as it keeps the aneurysm from bleeding. You're in y prayers and I'll be watching for news from you.
I wonder, sometimes, if we ever give God a headache.
Tammey, sending hugs and prayers your way my friend. God bless you.

I used to be indecisive; now I'm not sure.

Oh Tammey..I am sorry. ((HUGS)) to you. Hoping for a full recovery after you talk to your surgeon. I'll be thinking of you!

Prayers for you, Tammey! How awful that the medical staff can't decide what's going on, so no wonder you still have a headache! They can't figure out how to treat you! Praying that you have relief sooN!

Oh Tammy, that's not acceptable in this day and age!! There are too many ways for them to figure out what's going on. Maybe the doctor was a resident/intern (or just stupid??). Anyway, get to the bottom of it.
A friend of ours was visiting her MIL with hubby, and new baby and collapsed on the floor (several years ago) - brain aneurysm. She was touch and go for a long time - several surgeries. Anyway - she's now back to 99% (She can't resume her place on the rugby team and that's ticking her off - so the reason for the minus 1%) and you'd never know she had all the issues she had. The worst issue was she was her own worst enemy. If they told her no, she decided "Yes!". Like driving the car to "see if I could really judge distance". After driving into her garage she realized no. Stuff like that. Jennie is fine now, like I said, and you will be too!!! (((hugs))) and many prayers

I'm continuing to pray for you. Sometimes I have to shake my head at doctors that appear not to know what they are doing. Prayers for pain relief, healing and that the docs get it together.
