My DH called and says, What did you order on E-bay? He was teasing me this morning and I said, I was going to buy something on e-bay. He arrived to work early (Which he does often with being blind and using the Para transit) he said," So what did you buy on E-bay? I told him a scrappy supply, Then I said you checked the account didn't you? Anyway. With wi-fi he can access his braille note at work in the break room. I knew that is what he did. He just teased and wondered how I knew that he already knew. He was not upset it was just funny since I had warned him. So here we are both laughing about it. He is really supportive of my Scrapbooking BUT it was just funny.

That is funny. Isn't is grand that our DHs support our hobby? Mine does too.
Mildred - Mom to 2 girls and a husband (I tell people that I am a single mom of 3. Ages 59, 37 and 31) lol. And a proud Grandma to Orahn (7) Sawyer (5) and Mazie (3).
Funny! Glad he supports your hobby! And, it's sweet that he was thinking of you on his break!

My dh is the one who got me started lol. Back in the day (2000) we used to scrap together and had gotten a mail order kit at the time. Very basic stuff. Anyway, he lost his job right before 9/11 and it was hard to find work here in NYC and he made quite a few pages back then. But once he started working again he hasn't scrapped. He encourages me to do more scrapping during the day but I am always feeling guilty when I have deadlines and kid stuff. My scrapping style now is 5 minutes here, 10 minutes there lol. And also I would feel like I can' t use this or that supply because what if I need it in the future (you know that feeling!) and he would tell me, when you run low on something, stock up! Don't hoard. Buy it and use it! He supports me buying supplies and using them, not letting them get dusty.
Happy Scrapping!

Hahaha! Funny! My DH suppors my hobby too. I tell him about every purchase too, not ashamed about it. He never grills me or anything. The funny thing is the amount. I can tell him I spent $100 on scrappy supplies and he won't even blink. But (for example) when I told him last night that I spent $2.97 (bought some tattered angels mist and doggie stickers, after sale price, promo code, points and gc's) he goes "WHAT?!?! You broke the bank!" Then he LOL's and says "That's cool, baby". I love my funny dude.

We are truly blessed to have Dh that do support us and our habits. With Jason being blind. I try to do a lot tactile. So yes it does cost me more. But I feel it is worth it.

That is funny! I am so grateful my DH is the same way. Picks, teases, but 100% supports my passion!!

Yes, I am truly blessed he is supportive. He goes shopping with me sometimes. He has even helped journal pages and with being Blind he has even done a few LO before.KellyO wrote:That is funny, but how lucky you are that he is so supportive.

Supportive hubby's are THE BEST! It's always fun to have a husband that has a sense of humor about our addiction!
