to get some 12x12 cardstock. I was trying to do a challenge from the crop today and darn if I don't have any white card stock, blue card stock except light aqua, off white card stock, or much of any other colors that I needed today. I seem to have a lot of orange and autumn shades which isn't going to work with a layout of snow pictures take a few months ago. lol

I pulled out the white inserts that come in the page protectors in my albums, took out a lot of bulk and I have a TON of white paper/cardstock.

I've done that!

I have two crates full of cardstock, but never seem to have the color I am wanting. Crazy!!

I know exactly what you mean. My DH says, "you're buying more, you have so much already" and I say "but I don't have the color I need". I think he thinks I'm crazy.

I have a large stash myself and still buy the matching cardstock to a collection sometimes. It takes so long to find just the right color from my stash...guess I'm in need of a 10-step plan...LOL!

I realized last weekend I have no blue cs either...I definitely need to stock up on some basics!

I like to get a good selection of colors and shades, just cause you never know what you will need. Any my scraps? Wow, I do have quite a stash but I'll look through them for small die cuts, etc so I don't waste a whole 12 x12. Yep, those white sheets are not tossed by me neither!

well dang wish I had thought of that. Now I need to do that and will have tons of white card stock. But need really to hit the stamp art store and get some good colors. Haven't been anywhere like that since DH got sick in January cause he goes everywhere with me now and he hates craft and SBing stores. lol

I actually order the white by the bulk now - 25 sheets to a pack - because I use so much white either for background or for a lot of matting... plus it is cheaper that way and I don't run out! The last time I ran out of Kraft, I did the same thing, ordered bilk b/c I realized I have been using a lot of that. As for other colors, when I order a new paper line, I order matching Bazzill at the same time and keep it all together so I don't have to dig through my stash later and try to match things up!

I noticed the same today! I have a bunch, but I'm doing more outdoorsy LOs and such right now, so I need a lot of sage greens and browns, so I'll have to get more. I shoulda got some while I was at HL the other day, they had paper half off this week. Guess I'll have to wait another 2-3 weeks for it to go back on sale.... Just hope I have enough to get me through!

Same here!

do you have any silvery cardstock? That works nicely for snow pictures.

The one color that I end up with a ton of all the time, purple! I have a little girl, so I find that odd. But I just don't select purple for anything through the year.

I'm always running out of white and black.

Ya know....you could always go digital. Then you never run out! lol
