Wow! What a scary thought! LOL. I did buy a couple of gifts for my mom while I was in Cali last week. DH wanted me to give them to her now, but I'm saving them for Christmas!

I also have started Christmas shopping and have a bin of items stashed away! I'm usually done by Halloween each year. (I REFUSE to hit up the stores, except for groceries, from Nov-early Jan.)

I have a mother, grandmother, two brothers, a sister-in-law, three nephews, my aunt, and the people at work. Not to mention my puppies too! I have all of the "big" stuff done except for my brother, Anthony. He is really hard to buy stuff for. Last year I got him this Dale Earnhardt piece of the car (that he crashed in) that was signed by His kid, Jr. My brother was really stoked about that...this year I don't know. He told me to just take that money and spend it on the kids...might do that 'cause he is SOOOO Hard to buy for.

I've gotten a couple of things but my stash is dwindling as I keep giving them out!:-D We did our family name drawing for 2 years out so that I could start shopping right away. I try to be done by Halloween, except for the things we shop for together.
I do have to say that I buy more when I start early, and usually the gifts are better, too.

well I personally no longer start my Christmas shopping in February. lol Now the plan is to usually sometime this week or next start a list. Then the actual shopping around end of September sometimes. But I love that I still get a guilty feeling if I havent started by the 26th of June. 1/2 the time is gone already. lol And you guys that are almost done are probably young(er). hahahaha

haha - I have a little app on my iPhone that has a constantly-updating number on the badge (icon) showing exactly how many days are left until Christmas ... just 180 to go!! When you open the app, it tells you how many days, hours, minutes, and seconds (!!) until Christmas.
I am already saving money towards Christmas but I order lots of stuff online. This year it will NOT sneak up on me!!
