Bose is were it is at. Good quality equipment. You can't go wrong.

I have one at work and the sound is great, but it is only worth it if you actually pay attention to it and can discern the difference. I can't tell the difference so it is not worth it to me. But some people really can hear better and it makes a big difference.

Isn't it amazing? I consider myself both a musicphile and an audiophile and hands down consider our system the best investment ever made, second only to my home!

I was thinking about one too. My carpenter, just yesterday said he got his at a garage sale for $10.00 and he can pick up all sorts of radio channels.

Living in the boonies that would be great.

We have Sirius radio, but sometimes I just want to listen to the local news.

that's cool!! dh & sons are nuts over BOSE (they're musicians ) we're looking into a surround system
to go with 3D TVs, but boy they are expensive... one son got itty bitty earphones that cost like $100

Bud adores Eric Clapton and is picking up things that he'd never heard and is thrilled.
