We are eating late today because my son in law has to work so if you don't see Smiles/Frowns by 6ish EST, please feel free to start them for me. My son is swinging by my daughter's house to help her load all of the munchkins into her van and then they will all spend the day here. Rob is going to work on our printer and some other computer issues and we all cook most of the day. This year, with the help of the gate, hopefully we won't be pulling little boys out of the Christmas tree...lol.

Good morning! I am going to be spending a nice quiet day with my hubby. This will be the first whole day we have spent together in months. He has been working 7 days a week. I am going to make a small turkey with all the trimmings and we will start getting the Christmas decorations out. I hope everyone has a wonderful Thanksgiving!

When I get off work at 7:30 AM EST I am going to bed until 1:00. Then get up, shower and go to my cousin's house for a big extended family and friends feast. I cooked yesterday so that is done for me already. Yay! I can not imagine a better way to pass this day. Being with family is where it is at for me.

Happy Thanksgiving to all my American Cherries!!! Hope you enjoy the day/weekend!! Thursdays are my Fridays, so I am so glad today is the end of my work week! This week has gone by so slow!!! Tomorrow my LSS has decided to have a Black Friday sale, so I'm going to work with there all day and play in "my" candy store! LOL!

Bibi and I have similar plans...sleep, then drive! I just got home...it's 8:20 as I type this. I have to be up by 10:45 am to get a shower and get on the road. We're driving 130 miles to my brother's house, and will return yet tonight.
My biggest thankful item....my kids are okay after their accident, and we have family time together. I really Adam could have made it home from Missouri, but I understand, and am hopefully going to take the ankle biters out there on spring break. And a developing relationship is a surprise addition to the thankful list!

Happy Thanksgiving to all who celebrate and Happy Thursday to all who don't! Off to my sister's house. I am blessed with amazing cook's in the family (me...not so much). I bring the cheese platter - it is best that way 
. I will miss my other DD, SIL and granddaughters, DS and DIL but my youngest made it home from school late last night after work (bakery at Whole Foods and had to close and drive about 1.5 hours home) so glad she gets a few days of rest - between school and work she is just flat out 24/7. I remind her to be thankful she has a job and she is making it work albeit hard it is not forever! Today is the perfect day to remind her how lucky we are. Have a great day everyone!

Happy Thanksgiving American Cherries! It's staying home for me. I will be putting the 19 lb turkey in the oven shortly, for a mid-afternoon dinner. I have most everything all set. We stay home, and my darling mom comes over for dinner. I miss the big family gatherings so much!

Good morning all! Its been a tough morning for me. DH likes to SSSLLLLOOOWWW cook the turkey for 18-22 hours, so its been in the oven since 8:30PM last night. I wake up this morning and head to the kitchen. BLEH!! I hate the smell of food, especially a meat, in the morning. So I'm nauseated and out of medicine. DH wanted to make omlettes this morning and again, BLEH!! He's the KING of Omlette's, but not sure what's going on, but he overcooked them and they are all brown and crispy on the bottom. YUCK! So I'm gonna hang out in my scrap room until its time to eat. I might not eat much, but whatever. Hope everyone has a great day today!

Today is going to be busy for me as I've got a little cleaning still to do and I'm cooking a huge feast all by myself (and getting a late start on it), hoping to enjoy the football games and spend time with DD and DH (he got called into work last night so he's trying to sleep a bit now which wasn't part of the plan but hopefully he'll be up soon) and then hoping to get started on Christmas decorating tonight so we can officially kickoff the season. Good Morning! (at least here in the Pacific NW) and Happy Thanksgiving! Hope you will all get to relax a little today. I'm missing one son who's at college. And so there is only 3 of us. The turkey is almost done. The cranberries (with orange, ginger, and nuts) has been unmolded, the squash is finished, the potatoes cooked. And I need to start the gravy and take a shower. Then it's time to play (with my scrap supplies of course). Give your family members each a hug (even those teenage boys!)

Happy Thanksgiving; we ate out (at Ryan's Buffet) since it's just Barb & me. Rachel came by a couple hours ago and got the muffins I made for the shindig at Vinne Paul (HELLYEAH) Abbott's place. She brought us a couple of her creamcheese /bacon wrapped peppers. Too full to try them though.
Should be in the scraproom making Christmas cards and ornaments, but haven't gotten motivated yet. Did pull out the Christmas wreath and added a TX Ranger ornament to it and hung it on the door.
