Last night was the opening night for the play and I always order a "Break-A-Leg" balloon for good luck for whichever son of mine is in the play. Since they both are, I had to order 2 and then remembered my oldest son has his best friend in the play also, so I ordered one for him too. He comes from a single parent home, with a pretty rough background.
Anyway, the florist delivers them to the Fine Arts Building so they get them while putting on make-up and costumes. I get this text on my phone from my son--He almost cried Mom. Then I stood at home with tears in my eyes also.

What a wonderful kind thing to do for him. You made his night and he probably won't ever forget it. Good for you. I agree, it is the smallest of things that make most people smile. I know it does for me.
