That is exactly what my SIL Jenn saw on her way to our house after dropping a co-worker off. She slammed the breaks, pulled over to the side of the road, and dashed out into the street to rescue the little kitty. She came over to my house crying, and she showed us what she had in her arms!






Its a girl, and we think its between 8 and 10 weeks old. My brother and SIL cannot keep her, so DH and I are taking her in. Isn't she gorgeous?







We have named her Athena. We have checked her over and she has no cuts, but will be taking her to the vet this weekend to make sure she doesn't have any internal injuries.

She is awful cute! Sadly there are too many that just throw pets away especially out in the country. Just spend the money and get them fixed!!

I get so mad when I hear about things like this. I don't understand some people. Your kitty is soooo cute. I am happy that your SIL was there to rescue her. I would have been crying too. Now she has a wonderful home with wonderful people. I hope to see more pictures of her as she grows.

Oh! That makes me so angry! How could anyone do that to a poor little animal. Especially one as cute as her! I'm so glad your SIL was there to save the poor thing. I don't even want to think about what would have happened to her if no one stopped to get her.
