Okay. So we aren't suppose to disclose the details but.....

My DD Jocelyn just got a full ride scholarship for soccer to a private university for ALL FOUR YEARS!!!! I am sooooo beyond proud of her!!!! I LOVE the university she will be attending and know she will have an AMAZING time there! It includes Tuition, room, and board for all four years! All we have to pay for are books. It is just more than we ever dreamed! She will be majoring in Elementary Ed and wants to be a Kindergarten Teacher! GO JOCELYN!!!!!

I just HAD to tell the Cherries!!!!!

Thanks! I was ready to really bite the bullet and do whatever it took. At first they offered her less than half but then we went to look at a two year school that offered her full ride and they came back with FULL SCHOLARSHIP. Apparently a private donor wants to grow the soccer program and they used that money to fully fund Jocelyn. She's a keeper!!!! (literally... she plays goalie!)

That is great news. Congratulations. Thanks for the post, you must be so proud of her. It will be such a releif...college is so expensive. My daughter is going in the fall also and it can be very stressful thinking how it's going to be all paid for. Love the layout of her playing soccer

That's awesome! Congrats to you and Jocelyn. My niece went to a private Christian college on a full ride volleyball scholarship....made a huge difference in their lives. Can't wait to hear more about how the program and her experiences at college develop!
