I can't say much because I don't really know much and I will start crying again, but DS is struggling right now...could use some things to go his way. Please keep him in your thoughts and prayers.
UPDATE: spoke with DS yesterday...things are starting to get clarified and looks like things will settle down soon. What was so hard was that he had called my house Sunday evening while I was at work, wouldn't talk to the kids because he didn't have many minutes on his cell phone (until he gets an address I can mail things to, he is using my other son's prepay TracPhone) but told DD that he really needed to talk to me. I tried to call him back, but either the phone was off or he was in the baracks where he doesn't get reception. I added minutes to his phone online so he could call, and he did call me last night. The issue he is facing is turning out to be more minor than he had feared, which has me grateful, and he seems to be proactive instead of reactive now, which is also good. He laughed when I told him I had added the minutes to the phone....he had thought he misread the display screen and wondered where the minutes came from. I love my kids...they are all so appreciative for even little things like that.
I'm the kind of person that can handle most anything, if I know what's going on and can make a plan, even if it's a plan for coping rather than acting. But hearing he needed to talk to me and then not being able to reach him had my imagination going wild. What was so sweet about our conversation last night was that I told him I was going nuts after that Sunday phone call and not being able to reach him, and he apologized and said he would watch how he says things so I don't freak out lol. He also is already making plans for activities for all of us, asking me if I was still planning on coming to visit him next summer/fall. I said yes, and he said cool, that he just wanted enough lead time so he could request leave so he had time off when we come down. A young man so excited to have him mom visit him.....I got a good thing here!
Thanks so much for everyone's support....it made a huge difference just knowing you all are there, and I know the prayers are helping him too. It means more than you can imagine!
