My son was killed 2 months ago. Does anyone have any precious pages I might use as motivation. My brain doesn't and I have no creativity. Any help will be appreciated. Labecca

I am not sure what motivation you are looking for, but this was therapy for me...However, I couldn't do a page like this for several years after my dad passed away....and even then I cried through making it. (((Hugs))) to you. I am so sorry for your loss.

Here is one that I did of my grandfather and my oldest dd. At the time this pic was taken (just a few months before his passing) she was only a few months old. She is now 28. I was only able to begin scrapping about my grandparents this past year. I still tear up when I look at this picture.

I don't know what motivation I'm looking for or where to get started. I just gotta do something. Can't sleeep or rest. I have a disease called crones and that isn't helping with the stress. Yes I lived for this site.l It's so exciting to make pages when you have happy memories, but I have none now.I'm confused and hurt and most bored. I need something constructive. maybe i was lead here to talk with friends. The pages above are exceptioally beautiful. thanks for sharing.

Hugs to you. I don't have any pages to help, but know that keeping yourself busy is a good step.
Do you know that there are some great crones support sites? My sil suffers from this as well and finds great comfort on those sites.
Hugs again.

Hugs to you, hon. I'm so very sorry for your loss. You do have happy memories from when he was little. Dig out those photos and start scrapping an album...1 page at a time. The journaling with be the most important part. A few words about his smile or what he was doing in the photo. Start by copying (Lifting) a LO in the gallery so you don't have to think too much about the design...just the title or the journaling or the date. And one by one, through the smiles and the tears you will create a loving tribute album to your dear son. You are in my prayers.

I'm so sorry to hear of your son's death - I cannot even imagine what you're going through. There ARE grief support groups - your local hospital's social worker should know days and times; if they don't have one, I'd try the Department of Social Services. There are many people out here who would love to help you if we had the chance. If, by any chance, you live in Michigan's Upper Peninsula, please let me know. Try to take an hour or a minute or a day at a time...don't think ahead too far. You are in my prayers.

I am truly sorry to hear about your son.
I agree with Lyndakay's suggestion to start one page or even one picture at a time, and build from there. Things like a smile or a goofy look in a picture are sources for inspiration. Don't worry about the end results...try to find comfort in the process.
