Who does not use FB other than me? I know, I'm lame. Just that I am at the computer 9 hours a day at work so I'm not interested in being on it at home more that I have to outside of the world of scrapbooking.

I don't use it. I think I'm the only person I know my age (30) who doesn't!

Umm... I guess since FB was originally created for college students my usage is justified, but I'm not nearly as addicted as some of my friends... Farmville, Mafia Wars, blah blah blah... that crap bugs the living daylights out of me... thank god I can block all of it! I can't say that I blame people who don't want to be a part of it, but I do find it an easy way to communicate with people, they seem to respond to Facebook messages so much more efficiently than e-mails or calls... *sigh*

well then, please look for my scrapbooking blog Ann Ominous Designs on Facebook. I post freebies and previews there.
I just started using it a few months ago.. all of my friends back home use it, and family and coworkers and my bf and a few friends where I am now. I hate all the games and crap, I only use it to keep in touch with my friends back home and niece and nephew. It seems like it's the new email.
I was reluctant to use it...never been one to jump on the bandwagon. But when I went to my 10 yr college reunion, someone said "oh, we were talking about you on facebook the other day" I was confused, since I'd never been there and I told them that I would get on to see what was being said. Turns out it was a friend of mine from college that I hadn't seen or talked to since graduation and she was looking for me. So I joined, reconnected with college friends, high school friends, and use it to keep in touch with my family that's scattered across the country. So I mainly use it for that...a way to keep in touch with people. I don't play the games (except a recent addiction to Family Feud) and I recommend to people I talk to that they hide the posts from all the games, that way your news feed doesn't become cluttered with them, because I was really getting tired of this. I never thought I'd be one of those people on it all the time...but I am!

Yeah, that's part of why I'm resisting it. I was addicted to myspace back in the day, and don't have time for another addiction right now, lol. Plus, the privacy issues concern me.
FYI, I don't tweet or blog at all either. The shame!

Same here. I've been asked to join, but I just haven't found the time or energy right now to start.

Becky you are a rare bread among us 30 year olds (I am 30 too.). hehe I read tweets, like news updates but I have sent three my entire life I think. The only blogging I really do is for scrap booking and photography.

Yeah, I think I'm really just an old person at heart, because I really just don't get the allure of twitter. I don't know how you all have time for that stuff. My busy schedule of fist shaking at speeders in my neighborhood and yelling at children to get off my lawn keeps me hoppin'
I don't for the same reason. I work all day on a computer, I come home and want to relax not spend hours on a computer.
Have a coke and a smile!
I'm barely on Facebook - just enough to try and keep up with family and friends and toss out a status once in a while, lol. Some weeks I completely forget it even exists until someone yells at me, lol.
I'm on Facebook all the time. However, I have never sent a text message & that's one bandwagon I don't plan to join!
I do use it to keep in touch with nieces/nephews/sisters/brothers. Have kept my friends list very limited. I don't feel the guilt everyone else seems to when I ignore a "friend request"- I don't want people I barely know on my FB! I do like it. It's a great way to keep in touch. I do block all the games and stuff, don't like that.
