Smiles n Frowns for 7/10

Smiles: spent the day playing with my grandsons and letting Little Mama get some much needed rest. The boys are staying awake longer and longer and are so much fun to cuddle. And we got a lot done today to get ready for our vacation.
Frowns: way too hot here!

Smiles: got everything done and out the door on time, away for a week and so far I don't think I forgot to pack anything, plus I have Internet here!
Frowns: it rained all day (but we did need it)

Smiles: went to a went to a street faire in town at the local mission and found a darling dainty bracelet w/lavendar swarvoski crystals for only $12!
frowns: still not warm enough here to enjoy the beach.

Smiles - Went to a baby shower this morning and the mommy-to-be looked radiant!
Frowns - Found out a good friend's father has been placed in Hospice Care and is being kept comfortable waiting for the end.

Frowns: Haven't gotten anything accomplished today! Trying to work on a layout for the Saturday Challenge but it's not coming together.

It makes more sense to do the Frowns first::::: Had an awkward family gathering to attend today, and it was super friggin' hot.. (Grandma's 90th b-day... unfortunately not the grandma who is nice)... blech!

Smiles: worked today and dh took me out for dinner.
Frowns: got off work at 4:00p and had to get back at 12:00am and work until 8:00am

Smiles ~ My best friend came over, we scrapped till 3:30 am, had cheese and crackers and drank some wine.
Frown ~ Didn't have one.
