My surgery is tomorrow.

So my cervical disc replacement surgery is tomorrow. Although I am extremely happy that this pain will be gone tomorrow, I am still nervous. The past couple of days the pain has gotten worse so I am definitely ready for this. I will try to get my daughter to get on here and give you all an update of my status. Hopefully it won't be too long that I'll have my butt back on the board and in my scrapping room.

Hugs :inlove:

Best wishes for a successful sugery and a speedy recovery.

DO follow your doctor's instructions with regards to taking it easy and how much you can lift. My dad would never do that and he wound up having more surgeries and plenty of pain!!

Praying your surgery goes just as planned and your recovery is full. PLEASE listen to doctor's orders...because I did not do that too well for my first back surgery I needed a second years later (I had a 18 mo old the first time around, which made it pretty difficult). If you are ordered not to bend or lift - then don't! I know yours is in a different area than mine, plus it is replacement, so our recoveries are not the same, but I really want to stress importance of taking it easy and doing as told. Don't try to be a super woman! I pray that pain is a memory only in a week's time! ((HUGS))

I hope you wake up in Recovery and can tell right away that the problem is gone. Just remember to take your recovery slow and don't do too much. Sleep whenever you're tired - your body recovers better in your sleep. Oh - and don't do too much too soon. (Believe me - this is the voice of experience speaking!:) )
