If you went to school in the 1970's, did you have a metal lunch box? Did you have more than one?
I did. My first lunch box was Scooby Doo. Then I had Holly Hobbie. Then Donny and Marie and then finally THE HARDY BOYS! Yep. The Hardy Boys. That one is by far my favorite. After all, I was going to marry Parker Stevenson and then when I got bored with him, marry Shaun Cassidy.
OCD is not an adjective. It is not a personality quirk. It is not synonymous with being organized. It is a complex and debilitating mental health illness that affects people of all ages and walks of life, and is defined by the presence of unwanted, intrusive thoughts and repetitive actions. I am an OCD warrior and I fight for my son.
Oh, and my cousin had a Waltons lunch box!

I had the Hardy Boys lunch box as well and I was positive that I would be the one marrying Parker Stevenson. Whatever happened to him anyway? lol!

Um I had plenty! I did have scooby doo as well. I know I had Star Wars, Buck Rodgers, Barbie(she may have been plastic), Pac Man, Buggie(the cartoon). I had a Battle Star Galactica but I believe that was plastic as well. I know I am missing another, but can't remember what else.
I had a pink nightgown with Shaun Cassidy on it! He was my very first major crush!

I went to school in the 80's and my first lunchbox was a metal Gremlins lunchbox with the cute Gremlin guy riding in the Barbie Corvette on one side and the ugly one on the other side. Then I had a yellow plastic Cabbage Patch Kids one. After that, I must have been too cool for lunch boxes and started carrying brown bags.
I have seen the metal ones, but don't remember having one... and I haven't even remember what was on mine! I know I bought lunch a lot

Mary Love is all around you.
I had a few metal lunch boxes in the 70's, holly hobbie was one, but wonder woman was my ultimate favorite. I LOVED wonder woman!
I only had one...the Beatles' Yellow Submarine. It was awesome--all yellow and bright colors. Man I wish I had that thing back, but alas, I grew too cool for lunchboxes in junior high, where for $1.00 you could get a paper-thin hamburger and a coke if you ran 2 blocks to Krekle's burger stand on your 28 minutes of freedom. The burgers are still on my butt today--should'a stuck with the lunch box!!

Man...I know I had one, but I'm so old, I can't remember! LOL! I can vaguely see it in my mind and the border was red and I think it had alot of blue on it, but I can't, for the life of me remember what the picture was!

I had a couple of lunch boxes. One was of Bobby sherman and the TV show he was on. It did not last long.
I had anothe one, it was girly, but not sure what it had on it. Then I got " too old" had to do the brown bag.

I had three kids by the '70s so I didn't have metal lunch boxes, but they did. I remember a Holly Hobby, but that's it.

I had a barbie one for sure...trying to remember what else I had!
Do you remember when they first switched from metal to plastic? And they made those polkadotted long ones that fit the big thermos? I loved that one because then I got ALL of the tomato soup my mom would make for me!

Didn't have a metal lunchbox, but dh did. His mom found it recently - it's in great condition and the thermos is still with it! It's a Wonderful World of Disney one.

By the 70's I had switched to brown bags. I know I did have some metal boxes in the 60's. Can't remember who/what. Probably Barbie or the Monkees.
I assume I had some, but don't remember what they were. I mostly remember eating the school lunches though. And even in high school we weren't allowed to leave the campus to eat somewhere else - I still think that's weird when other people mention it!
Parker Stevenson married Kirstie Alley, don't know if they're still together or not. I was a Shaun Cassidy girl; he was my first concert!

I know I had one. I think it was a BARN shape of all things - because of the thermos. But I don't remember who is on it. My mom still has it, I think.
