It looks like the tsunami will really hit. I have been watching it on CNN and MSNBC. Now they have a watch posted from CA/Mexico border all the way up to the West coast and Alaska too.


Ladies in that area please be safe!!!!!



Also the earthquake in Chile was awful prayers for them too!

Definitely good thoughts for them. Also for all those in Chile...did you hear about their 8.8 magnitude earthquake??

My aunt and uncle are visiting my cousin in Hawaii, so they've been in my thoughts all day. How scary for everyone.

My stepdaughter is in Oahu - we heard from her earlier today - we've had the news on - long day...

I have not had the TV on - oh, my goodness. Lots of prayers going to all of these areas impacted.

My BIL lives on Oahu and we have been praying for him and all the people who live in Hawaii...of course in typical BIL fashion...he calls his mom this morning to let her know that he is going surfing
and not to worry because he is surfing near a flood plane so if the tsunami hits he can get in his truck and head for higher ground....pray he finds his brain....

definitely - my friend is in Hawaii right now and was dur to fly out tonight. Lots of prayers for all those hit by the devastation

I've been watching the news. They said they're hearing about tsunami damage in Ventura County California. that's where my BFF lives and just north of where DH is. Scary stuff.

i know, i just read all of these... really shocking i hope it won't be devastating!
here in southern california, we have gotten rained on since last night, but no biggie.

Oh my goodness! I haven't had the TV on today and now I'm worried. I think my BIL and SIL are in Hawaii right now. I'm texting to see if they're still there or made it back or what. I hope their vacation was last week...

I had the radio on earlier and heard about the EQ in Chile - huge, and it just seems like the relief/aid organizations are going to overwhelmed with places around the world needing their help.
Haven't had on news to know that CA is already getting some of that predicted tsunami. Praying for the safety of all Cherries and loved ones in the path.

Oh my, I haven't had my TV on all day. I didn't know about it and how terrible. My thoughts and prayers are with all.

Heard back from my brother. They are home, thank goodness. Prayers for the people in Chile and those in the way of the tsnuami

Prayers going up! I have a friend and Aunt who is lives in Hawaii. I pray that everyone who may be affected is safe and sound.

The first surges have already been felt in Hilo Bay. No damage so far. The highest wave has been 5.5 feet in Hilo and 6 feet on Maui.
