This is the view out our back door. It's blurry because I'm taking it through the glass, because the door doesn't open, as shown below....



We are getting ready to toss our kid out the window so he can dig the door out some. Dont' yell at me, he's the small one and can fit through the window!!

Strangley, You can almost see the bottom of the tires of our truck, but there is a 5' wall of snow on the other side of it....drifts.

I just videotaped Mack running through t he back yard like a deer. It looks like 2ft out here easily!

We just got a little over an inch, not much to show. It is melting off everything now. I am glad snow can be pretty, but it is a mess if on the road.

I don't know Cec...it must be warm where you're sitting. Can't those boys shovel by themselves? I'll bet you could get a whole layout done in the time it takes them to get all the doors cleared


I know it's a pain for all of you in it, but it sure is beautiful to look at!

wow, I can't even imagine that much snow! be careful shoveling! good exercise but I'll let you all have it. too funny about going out the window, too. lucky you were able to do that!

The chair is how my husband thinks we are going to save the parking spot we worked so hard for! He actually thinks when he gets home from work in 8+_ hours the spot and the chair will still be there!

Unfortunately, I do not have that much faith/

here are a few I took from the porch at 7am this morning. this is when the weather was saying we only had 7 inches at that point.... uh huh!




and this is Mack, whose head rests on the kitchen table, just to tell you how tall he is... right, Cec Iswabella wouldn't go out more than two steps so I didn't get her pictures yet. And I am not shoveling mecause I pulled a muscle in my back lifting bags of dog food at Petsmart into my cart the other night.

Fun pics, thanks everyone! Not sure how many inches we ended up with, maybe a foot? DH got the drive & walks shoveled. Strangely enough he just talked to his folks in north-central Indiana (S. of S. Bend) and they didn't get any!!

LOVE the snow pics - 60 here today and sunny! But I've heard that we are expecting ice before next weekend! That's Texas for ya!
