Walmart or well anywhere today? I went into my line at Walmart at 9:30 pm last night. LOL There was absolutely no line for the cricut.. but I was there till 5:30 am this morning. Wow. I was exhausted.. but I got mine! I got it in black. I only saw one other lady with a blue cricut when I left paying for her's.. Being in Walmart for 8 hours long..yikes.. lol. It wasn't crazy though like I thought it would be. I was there early.. I was able to put my stuff in the cart a few hours later.. Everyone started doing that so I decided too. We got some other things as well.. It worked out perfectly.. Able to stay inside Walmart was nice too cause it wasn't cold in there.. It was freezing outside this morning. Walmart was very well organized. .Since they didn't make people wait outside everyone just started coming in like an hour or two before you could start buying stuff.. Most people did. Great experience! I'd do Walmart again if it was organized like it was this year.


I went to JcPenney as well and Bath and Body Works.. They were already open. Was super fast.

My sister and her hubby went to Toys R Us and Best Buy.. Got everything on the list except one item.. So other then that one item..Got everything.

So tell me your Black Friday experiences and what cricut stuff you got or whatever. ::)

We didn't get a Cricut - our store only got 2 TOTAL. But my sister got one and we got stuff that she needed that was sold out where she was.

I've got some gift cards and some toy tractors to buy and I'm done!!

Lucky duck!!!! I am waiting until after Xmas to get mine. Hopefully I'll at least get it on sale!

I didn't get mine today but I did see that they were CHEAP! I was a little bummed because I got mine last month. If I only waited a little longer. I could have gotten mine at a great price and in color oh well. I did have fun today though. I hope you all had a fantabulous Thanksgiving. Now it is time to get decorating for Xmas!! I usually have mine done by today but I didn't do it this year. I was too busy shopping.

I just got a new cartridge.


I was a little bummed that WalMart did not have the cartridges that were pictured in their ad. They didn't even have the cartridges in the ad for sale online.

I posted this earlier- I went to Wal- Mart looking for the expression and I got one but I also got a jammed finger, scratch on my cheek, wrist, back of my hand, and a cut on the side of my finger and I got a red expression! I know the scratch on my cheek came from a box corner hitting me in the face from someone reaching for one over the top of my head the other injures I never felt, until afterwards. I wanted the black but I wasn't going to fight with anybody over it! Oh, and I lost my shoe, it was nuts! They only had 16 and I was 7 in order to get one, at 5:00 people came from behind pushing and shoving over the top of you. I was pushed on top of it, so I made sure I came out with it. I have never had a problem getting something on Black Friday like that. It kind of ruins your morning, I was ready to go! I like getting up early and getting out not staying up all night like last night. I won't do that next year.

Tracie! I'm sorry you had such a bad experience at Walmart! Taht sucks! LAst year, I was too close to a pajamma display when 2 women started pushing and fighting and the whole display went over!


I went out at 5 and got everything I really needed from my list. I picked up a cricut (for my friends dh to give her) at Michaels for $69.99!!! And it included the George cartridge. I also got a new cart for me, Sweet Treats! Oh and one of the MArtha Stewart border/corner punch sets. Oh, and a few other "to me, from me" presents!



Much tamer this year than last but I'm pooped!

WOW! I waltzed into my Wal mart at 9 am. There was a pile of at least 7 cricuts in all colors available. They did have the new cartridges on sale--but most of them were gone. I did get a Child's Year. Didn't get a cricut because I already have one--but loved the red! And I soooo want that Cartridge Serenade that was included!

I went to my WM about 10 a.m. today just to see if any of the Expressions were left. Parked 6 cars out from the doors, found a stack of Expressions remaining, checked out without waiting in line. Could not have been easier!! Also picked up Photoshop Elements at Office Max for $60. I am a happy camper!

I got my Cricut Create last year on black Friday, so I didn't buy the expression. However, I did leave the house at 4:30 this morning to be at Best Buy. I found my purchases pretty quick, but stood in line for over two hours to pay for them. Police were escorting people out of the store that were trying to cut in line and telling them not to come back in. Next, I went to Khol's and also found items quickly, but waited 2 1/2 hours to check out. Belks was my next stop, but didn't have to stand in line for long. I was exhausted when I got home, but at least all of Christmas shopping is finished and I got some great deals. I didn't do Wallmart today, but I was talking to one lady while we were standing in line and she said she had been to Walmart and 3 men got into a fist fight over a toy. People are crazy, but I had fun getting out early and chatting with people while we stood in line.

I didn't get the expressions, but they were available when I was there at 4:30. Some employees were very strict about touching the items before 5am and others were like "sure...take it, but it won't be on sale until 5". Managed to get my family bikes, everyone $3 jams, movies for $9, DS games for $10. LPS's for $9 and Matchboxes for $5. Great experience at Wally World, but my Toys R Us trip was a fiasco! Line around the building and into the street before 11pm and by the time I got in not ONE item of my list of NINE was in stock. Insane. The dude in front of me learned a few new explicatives this morning. JC Penny's ROCKED...got everything on my list and then some. Yankee Candles for 60% off...wha'? I own several =)

I asked if they would price match because I had an ad from JoAnn's with cricut cartridges for 28.88. They said I could and the cashier held them at her register so I could go to my car and get the ad and then come back to her and not have to stand in the massive lines again. A manager had to override the price match because of the big difference and then she noticed that Joann's didn't open till 7 am but she told the cashier to do it anyway to get the line moving. I'm planning to go to Michael's this morning to get the expression. I found online a where Michaels listed the cricut for 97.99 but it says thats for the expression. The manager at Michaels said she would honor it if I brought in a copy of the ad. I tfound the ad and printed it out. I think they made a mistake on the ad and it was supposed to be for the smaller cricut. Anyway I have the ad and I'm going to Michaels and hope that they will still honor it. The manager even said to tell whoever is on duty if she isn't there to say that she said so. Wish me luck. That would be awesome to get the expression for $97.99. The pink expression to boot.

Man I wish I had bought the expression at Michael's..oh well.. 188 is still better then the regular price..but I did not see that in Michael's ad!

the expression for $97.99 at Michaels was on a link when I was browsing Black Friday.com earlier in the week. When I asked on Thanksgiving day the manager at the Michaels told me that she would honor it if I brought in a copy of the ad. It took me about an hour that night, but I finally found the link and printed the ad. On my way to the store now. Will let you know what happens.

I baked cookies, made 1 lo - watched tv and picked up the apt.....did not venture out into the shopping world

I went to K-Mart at 5:45am got in a very orderly line. Some people were talking about being at Wal-Mart at 3am(no way in heck). All I wanted was the $20 MP3 player:bluesad: no such luck. Then headed to Big lots for some memory cards for the camera. I left, there was about 50 people in the one line to check out. Headed to Fred's, they didn't open until 7am so I froze my toes off(I was sixth in line though). They opened a few minutes early and I grabbed my one item and was out the door by 7:02. Went to Peebles to get dd some boots at 60% off and they used the 20% off coupons off I had too. I was home by 8am.


About 10am I headed out to the lss. They were having a sale. I got a book for 40% off and a couple of free items. I should have done my christmas list and I would have gotten 25% off another item. I did go back to Big Lots later and got the last 2 packages of the memory cards. When I went to Wal-Mart later in the afternoon I ended up getting an MP3 player that was a little more than the one I wanted but it will do.

I went to Walmart for 5. They let people in but you couldn't check out till 5. There were at least 6 circuts when I went back around 4:30. My mom wanted me to pick up one in case she couldn't get one. She called me to tell me that she got one, so I put the one back. I didn't even put it down and someone grabbed. She said she was watching me as I was walking back. HEHEHE. She got a red one.
