This is the 2nd time he has gone - last time was in 2006. He is not on the front lines - but I don't really get to know what he is doing (Intel).
I was scared when I heard about rockets hitting Bagram last week.... but he was not there at the time.
Augh.. it is stressful. He'll be back in Dec.
I know there are others who have a worse time - my friend's hubby just went to Iraq for a year!!!

I'm sorry Sandi! I hope you and he are both well.
My hubby has been gone just for a short while elsewhere in the military and I miss him like crazy. You can PM me anytime you want to talk!

Sandi, I am so sorry, it must be so stressful not to know what is going on. You and DH are so brave. Thank you so much for your sacrifices, we all really appreciate it. Hope he is home safely soon.

You military wives are my heroes. I can't imagine living with all the stress you have.

I will pray for all of the service people and their families - to come home safely to their loved ones. Bless you... (((hugs)))
Sandi, I'll be praying for your hubby's safe return in December. I so respect what he is doing for our country and our freedom. God bless him and you too for being such a brave wife.
HUGS to you and your family. May your dh come home safely with all the others he is working with.

I have no one in a war zone at this time, but my ds#2 is being deployed in Sept. It scares me to no end to think of him being shot at so I can understand your stress. I greatly admire our men and women in the military. They join the military knowing that they may be putting their lives on the line. God bless them and their families.

Prayers for you and your hubby and family. My niece did 2 tours of Afgh. and we were worried both tours. Praying that Dec. comes quickly.

My heart goes out to you as I've had family there as well. You are my hero as it takes a very strong loving wife for our men serving. Thank you to you both for your service to our country! It is appreciated far more then I can ever express in words!
How stressful that must be. You are both sacrificing so much for our country. I keep my prayers going for all those in the military, their spouses, and their families. May they return home safely and unharmed.
Mary Love is all around you.
