We will do our usual: head up the street to a restaurant on the river with a tiki bar (of course), climb to the top deck, order cold beer and hot wings and watch the fireworks. From that location we can see about 6 different displays and I usually go home with a sore neck from trying to see them all. We'll probably bbq earlier in the day and swim...
not terribly exciting but it is what we do. I want sparklers this year! I may have to stop and get them my self but I want them!
We are going to our dil 's parents house. They live on Pensacola Bay, have a great yard and house. We will see severl displays from there, too. Plus we always drive about 30 minutes to Alabama and buy some great fireworks for the fourth and the fifth (my birthday).

Dh has to work part of the day then we will go to Kings Island they have a big fireworks display.
Having a small party.

not sure yet, our original plans fell through and I don't want to have a party at my house because I have hosted for the past two years. Plus, I have a scheduled dr's appt Thurs night, and have a cortisone injection in my knee, so I know I will not be able to move around much on Friday (plan to sit on my butt and scrap) - that will make it impossible to prep for a party! My son's gf suggested going to Philly, but I don't know if I want to go into a huge crowd all day when we don't know what to expect....

We are going to my parents' house where I grew up. I LOVE 4th of July there! It's a really small town and the whole town is at the parade and events all day. They have kids games and a craft show and entertainment on the courthouse lawn all day and everyone is wearing red, white and blue and it's just the most picture perfect 4th of July celebration ever! Then there are fireworks over the dam later that night that we can see from my parents' house perfectly because they live on a ski hill. It's great!
We don't have any yet, but I hope that we can see some fireworks this year! I haven't seen any for a couple years now.

My kids are coming over from San Antonio on Thursday and will be here until about noon on Saturday. Then Sat night, my roomie and I will head to Galveston to see the fireworks over the water. This will be the first time for me, having been land-locked for so many years.

We'll be heading to New Hampshire for the 4th. One of my BFF's movees there last year and I am finally getting to go visit her. Will spend a week out there, so it should be a good time. Anyone have recommendations on things to do in NH? Any LSS I should check out?
Well, we'll be driving back home from a wedding in MA. I'm hoping we can go with our friends to the fireworks they're holding at Philadelphia Park Casino. It's the first year they're doing it, it's right by my house, and they're suppossed to be huge.

Our family reunion is always on the fourth so I will be at a cousin's house in Alabama during the day and probably will be traveling home that evening.
going that morning with my mom, aunt, granny and family friend to have pedicures and facials and then lunch. That afternoon probably not much and then to my grannys house for supper and probably some sparklers and then taking the kids to the fireworks.
We will probably be going to the marina and throwing some burger and dogs on the grill then we will take the boat out (my BIL's boat) towards NYC and catch the fireworks. Talk about an excellent view.
The 4th will be my mother's 84th birthday. We always have a party for her at my house but due to circumstances it's not until the 11th. My sister and I will pick up Chinese and a birthday cake for her, so it will be a quiet day. We'll be able to see a lot of fireworks over the Bay, so we'll have a bonfire with the neighbors and watch them.

We don't have any plans. I hope the weather is nice and the kids can come over and use the pool.
