She goes back to the oncologist today to see if the radiation treatment worked. Sadly, she has a new lump in her left breat though..... could you keep her in your thoughts Please
Update The mass is actually larger but that might not be terrible. However, she has more tumors in that lung and the lump she has on her breast, she also has the same under her arm. The doc said he wasn't making any new assumptions, he will re evealuate in 6 weeks. He did tell me in private that I need to continue to coax her to take her pain meds and antibiotic. Her tumor has a "cavitation" which apparently is a hole that can fill with fluid and get infected. He hopes (although he was not optimistic) that this is why her oxygen levels were so low and her breathing so much harder. He told me (again in private) that her lung appears to be solidifying which just basincally means she is getting worse from the cancer, not better. But I will continue to hope, that is all I can do.
