I don't use mine a ton, but I use it enough to miss it. I occationally like to emboss, and sometimes I don't like to wait for my craft ink to dry :oP

In a pinch will a hair dryer work? I haven't used either but read of people that do. Just have to heat from underneath so you don't blow stuff off.

I was thinking about the hairdrier, I'm sure it'd do... problem is I'll have to dig it out since I don't use one. I have one for my photography stuff, it's great for newborns (They like the sound and you can preheat surfaces to place them on so they don't get chilly)

If you are using it for embossing, don't use a hairdryer. It will blow the embossing powder off before it gets warm enough to melt it. I use mine all of the time. Have you checked Michaels or other big box craft store. Exactly justred! Something what would normally take just a few days for most people takes 1.5-3 weeks here.. depending on luck. I've had things take 6+ weeks but normally it's not that bad.
My mom is taking a trip this way so I'll ask her to look for one, if she has time and can find a craft store.
