Rainbow Cake- with how to

Now, before you health peeps nail me to the wall for this...I KNOW it is horribly unhealthy, but we are all sick, have been sick for days, and looks like we will continue to be sick.... so leave me alone.
There are lots of healthier ways to go about making this, but I didn't feel like it.
My 4 year old has been suffering the longest, so I thought this would make her happy. It did. I let her do most of it. It is fun for the kids if nothing else.
Oh, and I am not a baker as you Baker Betty's will see. So don't laugh.
How we made it: (added 3 more pics)
White cake mix
food coloring (they say the gel kind works better, but we used the regular)
6 bowls
icing
1. Make cake batter (I just followed the box directions)
2. divide into 6 bowls ( or however many colors you want)
3. add food coloring (we didn't follow a set amount, just added until we liked the color)
4.pour the first color into the center of the pan slowly (I started with red- I did then in the order of the rainbow-also, if you are making 2 layers , just use half of the colored mix per pan)
5. pour the next color (orange) into the center of the first- SLOWLY
6. repeat with all colors - I "shimmied" the pan slightly to get the batter to spread after I added each color
7. bake, cool, apply icing as normal
