 The people downstairs, who have lived there a total of THREE days, have the music BLARING again for the third night in a row.

I don't know what's with that unit down there. They always seems to stick the trashiest people there. I was so happy to see the last ones go finally. I KNOW they were dealing drugs down there. As soon as they moved in there were people hanging around at all hours and lots of 'traffic' if you know what I mean. They used to sit on the patio at night and smoke pot.

Before that, was another noisy person - she had 12 complaints in the first week she lived there. (none by me) She was gone in a month.

It's only 7pm. I wish I could call the cops and make them turn it off. Plus they're barbquing on the patio and it reeks of lighter fluid. I had to shut my doors from the smell, but I can still hear that *#$#$ music!!

 i remember those days..two LONG years!!! thankfully we lived in a family friendly building, but that doesn't mean there weren't over agruments!!! if they are this noisy now and they just moved in they won't last long...thinking of you!!!

**i just loved it when the people upstairs went to the bathroom and we could hear everything and then when they flushed, the pipes ran down inside our bedroom walls, how i LOVE my house.**

 We live on the playground. You'd THINK they'd have only families move into this building, I mean there are other empty units in other buildings.

I am calling the office tomorrow. To have a party down there every night they've lived here is ridiculous.

And don't even get me started about open flame bbq-ing on the patio! It's against the fire code for a reason buddy!

 My last appartment I had a downstairs neighbor from hell.  He was a drama queen.  No, I don't mean his sexual orientation.  He would yell and scream his head off when unhappy, frequently at his girlfriend.  They only thing worse was when they kissed and made up.  You remember the original Porky's movie with the girl's gym coach that they called Lassie?  Well, his girlfriend was Lassie times two!!!  There was no way to sleep through her happiness.  I would even go try to sleep in the living room on the couch and I could still hear her howling!!  And then there was the real female dog he had - she was a howler, too.  Every morning when the paper guy came around at 4 am she had to do the intruder alert howl!  My cocker Velvet figured out he was a regular thing after the being told to shush the first morning.

 I'd call the fire dept. on their booties. That's a DANGER to your family!!!!

Well thank the LAWD that someone else must have complained because the music stopped at 8pm. I can still hear all the people outside, but at least all the boom boom boom crap is over.

Don't they know I'ma sick up here?? I needs my quiet!! *pout*

 I HATED living in apartments. People are HUGE jacka$$es anymore and have NO consideration for others.

 I hear ya!  We lived in apartments for 8 years before we finally got our house.  We've dealt with a drunk guy from upstairs coming right down in our apartment, loud, wall-vibrating music, domestic disputes, sex noise, upstairs neighbors throwing their ciggy butts down on our patio, you name it.  I'm so glad to be done with that!

 I know how you feel! I have apartment living too!! The girl upstairs has a guy who visits her often (we think he's her pimp or sugar daddy) and they fight loudly every single time. And I know someone up there is getting thrown around. Then the guy across the hall...we can smell the pot coming through the cracks in our door jam! It's horrible. And he leaves bags of trash in the hallway. UGH!

I have quite the stories about several of the neighbors I had through the years!  I feel your pain!

 I remember those days too, but I have to admit living in a house on a residential street can be bad too.  I actually got in the street and jumped up and down and did a "happy dance" when my next door neighbors left, they were loud and had no consideration for anyone else in the neighborhood.

Now we have a nice couple next to us.  YEAH!

 i have good memories of our apartment days.  my sister's family was my next door neighbor at one complex.  we had great neighbors who did a lot of things together.  we all had small  and would sit in the play area (about 100 ft from my front door) and talk of the things our kids and dh did that drove us crazy.  it was like free therapy.  i love my big house now.  but i still have memories of good times in our apartments.

 I did not live in an apartment for long - 5 months.  So glad I have a house in the country with 2 acres.  People are close enough, but not TOO close.....
