I just found out that one of my little Daisy Scouts passed away Friday night. So stinkin' sad!! Lexi was just 6½ and a First Grader. She'd only been with us a couple of meetings, but she was just a little ray of sunshine and full of hugs. She went home sick on Wednesday and by 4am she was in Emergency because she couldn't breathe. They worked on her, but she didn't make it. Seems she had double pneumonia. Now instead of a trip to Disneyland over the break her parents are planning a funeral. Breaks my heart Hug those kids...I know I did mine.
