Question of the day 1/7
Are you a "bag" snob? Do you have to have  specific brand-- name brand or is any old thing fine with you?

I never ever used to care, but ever since I got my first real Coach-- I guess I am sorta a bag snob. I don't like to carry anything else---and I am looking a new Dooney and Burke one that I really really like--and  a Genna one too( at least hers are cheaper)

No I never have been, but hubby brought me a Kathy Van Zeeland bag for Xmas - just love it. Extra bonus is that it has my name on the front and on the tags "Kathy" as that is her logo.

Re: Question of the day 1/7
I sort of am. When I was younger I wouldn't carry anything but a Coach. Now I've gotten past that and have many different types including some no name ones. You have to admit though that the quality of a bag like Coach or Dooney & Bourke is unsurpassed. :winkb:

Re: Question of the day 1/7
I loved my Coach's until I had a $400 suede one get ruined with no way to fix it. Then I decided it wasn't that big of a deal. After that I have gotten a few from the Sak & LeSport that were pricier, but my favorite right now is the one I got on clearance at Sears! Maybe I'd spend the money on them again if I didn't have such a scrappy obsession now! ;)

Re: Question of the day 1/7
Nope, not at all, but DH is, lol.  When he buys them for me, they are the upscale name brand. When I buy them for myself they are just as likely to come from Walmart as Macy's, just depends on what looks good to me.

LOL the girls at work had a "coach" purse party and i didnt go as those prices are outrageous for me to see spending on a purse!! LOL but i will say some of them are really cute!! a friend bought one and the third day of using it the dang zipper was broke, yeah i will spend 200.00 on that !!
BUT<<<<<<<<<<<<<,, for xmas i have to say my mom bought me a purse from Kohl's that kind of looks "coachy" looking and i LOVE it plus it was like 60%off or something so what a bargain!!

Not really.  I got a couple of nice bags from friends for Christmas but coudn't tell you the brand if my life depended on it.  My daughter, on the other hand, loves her Coach!

Re: Question of the day 1/7
I'm not really a "bag" person. I do have a few and they are all the same brand. However they cost about $35 at Marshalls and start with a T, can't remember the whole name. And it's not that I search out this brand. When I see a purse I like, it always ends up being this brand.

I used to be more brand name specific prior to having kids. These days I am not too concerned.

Nope not at all...I don't like carrying a bag in the first place, so for me to justify spending more money on one would kill me.  I am a jeans and tshirt snob though.

Re: Question of the day 1/7
Not really, although I do like the better quality.  My knockoff Burberry and D&B purses were pretty good quality, though :-D.  Right now I have a Genna De Rossi from JC Penney that's good quality and wasn't pricey.

Re: Question of the day 1/7
Not in the least.   I hate buying purses.    I would rather buy a good one and use it until it's battered and worn and falling apart rather than get a new one.

My favorite for a couple years was a purse I paid $8 for.

Nope... if it doesn't fit in my coat or pocket, I don't need to take it with me.  If it's something that needs to go to work with me, plastic bags work fine too! ;P
