Are you one who only have a few ornaments on your tree or do you pretty much cover the entire tree like an ornament factory blew up on it like mine??
Maybe we could post pictures of your tree for this year here!!!????

I think I am middle of the road, I really love more lights then ornaments - even with a pre-lit tree I added more - I would love to keep them up all year -

I have lots of ornaments on our tree. I won't put it up until about a week before christmas. Have two cats and it's way to hard to keep them out of it.

I like lights and ornaments.
They seem to compete with each other for tree space.
This years tree is on a truck on the way to Texas from Treeville.

I think I'm in between. I like to put up quite a few, but don't load every branch.

No kids this christmas no tree................yay. That means no cats climbing in there and no dogs wanting to lift their legs............. But we do have our norfolk pine that is indoors - just no ornaments on it.

We bought a fake tree at Family Dollar for 30 bucks. It says it's a 6 foot tree.... but it's not quite, lol. I put as many ornaments on it that I have, so there's a bunch. Plus I took all the kids pictures Yesturday and made an ornament for each one. I got this cool snowflake ornament kit at Target and added some Stickle glitter and ribbons.. they look great! I think we 'might' get another tree, a real one. I just didn't want to wait for it because I wanted a Thanksgiving night tradition of putting up the tree, that's why we got the cheap tree. It's prelit, but we added more lights. It's small, but pretty. If it were bigger it would probably look bare. I don't see the point of 2 trees, but I know many of you have more than one, so maybe I'll try it out. I just hope the kids don't think Santa will be putting presents under BOTH tress, LOL!

Several ornaments, but not covered. DSs decorated it today. They received airplane and boat ornaments from Grandma. The airplane is up as high as they could reach and the boat is on the lowest branch. All the angels are up high too because they are in heaven and the stars are up there too. The rest are down low. We have a rather large area in the middle with nothing. The tree is so much more interesting when they decorate it!

I didn't put all of mine on the tree this year, I just came to a spot where it looked good, and I stopped... I do have quite a few though.....

Our tree is pretty full of ornaments I think. I try to space them out evenly. I do love the lights, too. Dh HATES the blinky ones, so ours are just regular.

We bougth a real tree on Friday. I worked this weekend so we haven't been able to decorate. We don't have that many ornaments I love the lights. I love to sit in the dark by the tree and enjoy the lights.

We went out and cut our tree today. The first live one we've had since dh's and my first married Christmas together. We'll be putting it up tomorrow. I have quite a few ornaments, about 95% homemade, and I'm still working on more! I'm going to make several Finnish stars and I have a ton of chipboard ornaments that I may or may not get around to doing. I usually cross stitch a bunch of new ornaments every year, but this year, with my newfound love of papercrafting and the amount of time we were house hunting, I just never really got around to it. I still have a few cross stitch ornaments from years past that need to get finished up and hung, so I'll still be able to put a few new ones up this year.

I have lots of ornaments, and most of them are pretty sentimental. Except for a set of wooden snowflakes and snowshoe santas, most of the ornaments are either heirlooms or handmade by my mother, grandmother, and godmother -- crocheted snowflakes and angels, sewn felt, etc. We would have normally put the tree up this weekend, but it will have to be sometime this week, I think. I decorated house early because of a couple of gatherings we had scheduled here, but I waited to put up the tree.

I would love to have a themed tree, but I end up putting a whole bunch of mish mash on because I like the sentimental ornaments.

Our tree in the family room is smothered in ornaments, lights and those xmas picks of red berries or frosted branches with pinecones stuck in everywhere. We have the miniature lights and 4 strands of the flickering larger bulbs.
Our tree in the sunroom is more rustic - not as many lights but alot of ornaments.
Then I have a small tree set up on the buffet counter that has no lights - just angels and stars. I may put up one small one in the office and one in the front dining room window - that one will be all santa clauses.

My tree is so overrun, it actually still has ornaments from when we were first married 30 years ago. I can't seem to throw anything away! Although this year, I did take some of the older ones off the tree and save them in a bag (everything seems to have memories, and yes, I have thought of scrapping them, just have it added on my list of books to do! lol)
