Do you live in a city or the country?
What's your favorite thing about the area you live in?
What's the temperature there today?
What's the time difference from ACOT time?
How long will it take you to fly to see me?

Where I live (Pretoria) we have late afternoon thunderstorms in the Summer and no rain in the Winter months. My brother lives in Cape Town (about 15 hours drive away),no rain in the summer, but rain in the winter months and they get a bit of snow in the mountains. hmpffff
Lots to see in and around Pretoria, we have the Jakaranda trees that only flower in October with little purple flowers and they line the streets in the 'old' part of town (very pretty).
It's a city.....

Oh I love these trees (Jakaranda trees ) .There was one on the golf course I worked at and I love to look at it. They are so pretty. I would love to have one in my yard one day

I have friends from Cape Town and a few from Johannesburg, yet I've never been to South Africa myself. I would love to visit though!! It's on my Top TEN places to visit in the world! I'm envious Bernadette!

Its amazing how similar and different the world can be apart from each other. You can walk on the real "wild side" anytime and I know I dream of it. But yet you think things in the states are amazing that we find every day stuff. I remember when you came to visit how you were like a little kid enjoying all of it. You know I'd be that away coming to visit you! But I don't know if I could take that 20+ hour flight! But it would be worth it!!!!
Didn't you say though that you seasons are different then ours?? Like when we celebrate Fall, you are having Spring??
