I don't think so at all!!
We've been watching 3 spiders for the past month ever night. I love them!

Fantastic!! You got great pictures of it - and that web is really, really beautiful! I know I'm on the weird side here, but I love watching spiders build their webs.

As long as it stays outdoors, I'm fine w/ it! Best not come indoors...or else!

Great pictures but I am with you, I don't mind if outside; not indoors. However, my ds has taught me to take them outside if they do come in. Most of the spiders here are not that big though

That is gross! Just looking at a spider will give me minor panic attacks. that one would be dead if it were by my window...lol

I think garden spiders are beautiful and so sweet! I have a multitude of them around my front door and plants. We had one last year that actually jumped to catch it's prey. How cool is that?
erica:)
PS I love insects too!!!
PPS If you think that's big, you should meet my friend the hobo spider. Also one of my favs...he's kind of furry and slow enough to hold.

Ummm, is that a fiddle shape on it's back? If so, you might want to get out the spray...it would be a Brown Recluse. They can kill any muscle they happen to bite into...leaves a nasty scar and can be fatal.
If it's not a fiddle, then look all you like...I'm scared to death of spiders, even in my garden they need to go away
