I got a phone call on my way to work that the kids were playing with a broken golf club in the garage, well my youngest his his leg with it and got fiberglass in his inner thigh! The friend I had watching the boys works for dispatch in another town so she had EMS come over to try and get it out since he wouldn't let her try. An hour after I got to work, I had to come home to take him to the ER because they couldn't get it out. We get to the ER and come to find out there was actually four pieces in his thigh. The longest being an inch and a half and 6mm in diameter! So they got everything out, and with popsicle in hand, he was good to go! Ill have to get some pics posted, the doctor was amazed and nurses were coming in to see what he pulled out. We called the EMS guy back and he was shocked, all you could see of the longest was about 2mm sticking out from his skin, so he never thought it would be that long!
Never a dull moment in my house, I tell ya!

Poor little guy. That must have really hurt! Glad to hear he is going to be okay.
I have already made a few trips to the ER with my 3.5 yr old. Someone told me that mother's of little boys have to have thick skin. Seems to be true in my case so far.
