What do you hoard/collect?
For me, it's baby stuff.....baby clothes, baby toys. Eli was the best dressed baby around! I also can't see dolls go to waste. I'm a sucker for dolls at garage sales and Goodwill. As of late, we seem to be hoarding Halloween decorations. Our yard has five ghosts, two skeletons (cute bell ones), a spider windsock, window clings, a pumpkin light, ghost bells, a scarecrow, and a few yard signs.
And then, of course, stickers. Besides scrappy stickers, I like stickers for cards - you know, American Greetings stickers and Hallmark stickers. Do I use them? No. But I like them.
The only thing I really hoarde is mail. I hate to get rid of it, cause you never know!
My other addiction is chapstick. Have to have it, since I was 15. Twenty two years of chapstick, I should own the company.![Wink :winkb:](./images/smilies/smile_wink_b_16.png)

Oh my... let's see, where to begin! LOL!
Books. I can't seem to get enough of them to read and usually have 5 going at one time. We have two closets full of JUST books.
Porcelain dolls. I started with one from Goodwill and now we have about 23. Cheaply bought but real porcelain so I can't complain. Z likes to change their clothes back and forth between them.
Jewelry. Mostly costume, but I've picked up some really nice pieces at several thrift shops. Goodwill and Value Village toss everything they can't sell into these huge clear flower vases and I wait until they're 50% off and grab 'em all.
Shoes. After I retired from the Navy, I went bonkers! I guess it was being limited to black pumps for 20 years ;P But according to a fashionist, I haven't reached the level of pig since I don't own 365+ shoes! Whew...

We are a craft hoarder, when every Quincie or I start a new craft, we have to buy it all. She is into art and sculpting, so we bought her tons of sculpty clay(and it was on sale). But our new craft is beading and we just started that so we really don't have too much right now.
I'm getting ready for a yard sale, so I've seen a LOT of the stuff that we "collect"; most of it unnecessary!!
Some of the good stuff:
Books- We are BIG into reading in our house
Kitchen Supplies- I like cooking, so of course, I'll pick up a new gadget or gizmo if I see one that I'll use (none of that "set it & forget it" though!)
Clothes- My kids have some very adorable clothes (at the moment, they look great decorating their bedroom floor too!)
And I'm addicted to body washes & lotions; I like smelly good stuff!!
Some of the not-so-good stuff:
Barbies- My gramma started this collection for me when I was little (most are still in boxes, and I will NEVER display them)
Teddy Bears- My collection from childhood, plus my husband's, plus our children's... It's insane how many stuffed animals we have right now
My husband's childhood toys- Now this is from his mother! I'm not joking when I say that she's kept 90% of his toys from when he was little! And now she's sending them home with my kids!!! ACK!

I'm a sucker for kids book...maybe because I taught preschool before I had kids and had started my own library...and then once we had kids...the collection has and continues to grow! Luckily...my kids are BIG into books!

Horses. That's why I can't afford to collect anything else, LOL.
Books too.
Well, maybe add cowgirl boots to that.
An' ya don't go throwing out a used horseshoe, too many uses for them.
I'd really like to add saddles to the list. ~sigh~

I'm not saying forget what you lost
I suppose there's a purpose in pain
What we make of ourselves has a cost
And it's paid every time we take hold of the reins

I used to collect all kinds of stuff... Hershey Tins (especially the Christmas ones), Bobbsey Twins books and other older books of that sort, books in general, videos, and anything pertaining to Disneyland. But when I moved in with my BF, space is/was limited so now most of that stuff is tucked safely into our storage unit.
Luckily BF let me keep (and add to) my scrappy collection!!![Happy :-)](./images/smilies/smile_16.png)

I love bags. Not purses but tote type bags. What's up with that? I really have no need for most of them but there are so many cute totes out there!
Sometimes the one you think is your knight in shining armour might actually turn out to be a retard in tin foil!
Books - I kept a large majority of the ones from when I was little...so eventually when we have kids, they will have a pretty big library of kids books. I am a voracious reader still, and have amassed enough books that dh is either going to have to build an addition so I can have a library or move to a bigger house so I can have one....
Elephants - I love anything elephants...
Old Quilts... Various Antique What Nots...
