In search of a bra-- can you give me any ideas?

Unfortunately my dd Amanda has no boobies yet-- I have the exact opposite problem. Here is the issue, she has enough to need a bra, but she needs like a 38A--without shaped cups, because the cups are too big, She doesnt like sports bras because of the back- she feels like everyone can tell she has on a sports bra--she wants something that looks like a real bra. I cant find anything in a 38-- do any of you lucky ladies have any ideas of brands or places I can try other than Wally world and target- I think shee tried on every bra in both stores--also checked Kmart and Bealls.  Thanks

When I first started buying bras for my dd I found them in the girls dept. They have the smaller sizes and cup sizes. And some of them are really cute. I found them at Walmart by the girls undies.

Did you try Fashion Bug?  I get my wired, racer-back bras from them...they ROCK!  But they have lots of styles and sizes.

What about playtex?  They're the company thathas the inbetween sizes so she could be "nearly A", "A", or "nearly B".  I am not sure who sells playtex but I would imagine they are easy to find!

I would try Kohl's, Marshalls or TJMaxx. They always seem to have hard to find sizes. You will have to dig but it will be worth it if she finds something she likes.

Try the victoria's secret pink line....the line is geared more toward juniors....I am pretty sure the bras run in smaller sizes.

the walmart line would have been great but they only go up to a band of 36-- not 38!!!  It is the band that is the problem.... I am going to have to try VS--but I didnt want to spend that much and I am hoping I can maybe find a Playtex insted --thanks

What about the Bali line of bras? They are at a lot of department stores. They have hard to fit sizes from small to large. If you have a JC Penneys near you they carry them and they are having a free bra fitting weekend... that would probably be too much for her, but it's that time of year for them.

I have such a tough time finding something that fits me comfortably ... I can't imagine trying to find bras for daughters ... wish I could help you out ... Did you try JCPennys?

I prefer a 38A bra, and yes, the 38 band is difficult to find with an A cup. I know you said she doesn't want a sports bra, but this one has a regular hook-closure back, stretchy lace back and a lace inset in front. Very feminine and comfy. I love mine. It is the Warner's Gold sports bra. Here is a link ...

Try this website, too....they have a bra finder, just like they have a jeans finder, and you can put in what you are looking for and they will show you who sells it, including online stores.  www.zafu.com

Ugh, I am sooo not the one to ask. I hate bra shopping...it's right up there with curtains. LOL
Anyway, I wear a very large size and I just recently find something comfortable at the Legg's, Hanes, Bali outlet. I don't know if you have anything like that in your area but it's worth a shot. If they had the larger sizes they may have smaller ones as well...I was also going to suggest Victoria Secrets...Good Luck!

I would suggest Target and Victoria Secret.  I know VS is expensive but they are experienced at fitting.  Good luck!  I know you'll find something!
