 Well, Bermuda couldn't let us go without a final hurricane! Let me just say we NEVER get a hurricane before the end of August, and even that is considered early - for us, they only ever come in September and October... So it was a big surprise that Bertha came - I really didn't think it would be much of anything, but the wind and rain began picking up on Sunday night, and Monday was a full tropical storm - the hurricane portions stayed out to sea. However, we did lose internet and power at my SIL's house, and the phone and power were still out at our apartment the next morning when we got over there.

I did go out it in it! LOL! Went to do my grocery shopping - got soaking wet bringing the stuff from the shop and putting it into the car! Didn't go anywhere after that, especially with the boys. DH got home from work alright, too, thankfully!

Most of the damage is wind-blown leaves everywhere, but a few trees did get knocked down as well around different places. WORST damage is that our car is flooded - not fun when you have 3 weeks to sell it! Super soggy carpet... YUCK! DH just went to town to find tools to take the seats out to see if he can get it apart and dried out.
