ACOT Message Board

 We went to Farmer's Market this morning with some friends. I was taking pics and kept the camera in the bottom of the stroller while we were walking. Then I stopped at one booth and made the mistake of walking to the front of the stroller. I bought the snack, reached for the camera to take a picture, and it was GONE.
What's even worse is that a lady SAW the person steal it! He was standing by us so she assumed he was with us. After he grabbed the camera he walked into the crowd but she didn't think anything of it until I told her my husband is gone with the military- so that wasn't him.
Isn't that SAD? I think what really really upsets me is that I have been doing a picture a day with my kids so that Daddy gets to see them every day through photos in emails as we tell him what we have been doing.


*sigh*

What a terrrible thing to happen, people like that just make me so disgusted. I never could understand how someone can steal from another.

 I know I need to really count my blessings that my purse wasn't back there too ( I had it strapped to me ) but I am still so bummed!
Guess I have to go buy another one! My mom said I can borrow hers for a week while I shop around.

Thanks ladies, for letting me vent about it! A camera is bad enough for the average person- but to a SCRAPPER?!

 How rotten!
When I was in high school I had a camera get stolen & my mom & dad's homeowner's insurance would have covered it, but the camera was about the same price as the deductable. Maybe you can check into that & at least not have to pay for a whole new one.
Hope the rest of your trip is fun!

 Man that sucks!  I had that happen too and it was my first "big girl" camera so I was REALLY bummed.  Hopefully you'll get a new one that you like even better.
