of moms that have a child with a broken bone. Kendall was playing Red Rover at school today, and instead of trying to stop her, the 2 girls let their hands go and she ran full force into the brick school building.  She broke her arm in two places, and now has a full cast.I DID have my camera in the car from the Girl Scout sleepover.  AND the orthopod has a wife that scrapbooks, so totally understood.

Oh man, I am so not looking forward to that day! I'm so sorry for your daughter. Smart taking the camera though! lol

OMG - the mental of running into the brick building is not a good one.  Hope she feels better soon!BTW, go have a drink (like I need to tell you that)!

Oh gezzzz...I had a 'flash-back' when I read about your daughter.  The same exact thing happened to me when I was in 4th grade, only I ended up smacking right into a basketball post!  I know her pain, and I hope she feels better real soon.  Prayers going your way too.Diane

She isn't in a lot of pain...but I gave her Advil when I thought it was just jammed.Her wrist is broken, as well as her elbow.  I guess the combination is common when you run into a brick building with your palms up.  She broke her right arm, though, and she is left handed.She has a full cast for 3 weeks, then Xrays, and hopefully a short cast after that.  He seems more concerned about the elbow break than the wrist one.

Awww, poor kid! She's only going to let you take those photos for so long you know...my kids don't allow them in the dr's office at all anymore! Hope she feels better soon!

Awwwww!  That's horrible (the part about how she broke her arm)! Kudos to you for having your camera handy though   Glad to hear the ortho. understood!Red Rover used to be one of my favorites!
