My allergies have been awful lately. Anyone else? It seems like every other day I wake up with a sinus headache. Any great ideas?!

No helpful hints here, but I've been getting terrible headaches from the cold fronts that have been coming through from the north. I have a few different triggers for my headaches and the change in air pressures is one of them. I have been waking up in the mornings a little stuffed up but within a few hours it's gone.I hope you're not allergic to your new home!

I'm allergic to just about every environmental thing possible! My latest combo is (and I hate to admit it): Tylenol daytime, Afrin, and later some Advil. Oh, and coffee. Otherwise, it lingers all day and I don't have time for that!

I take zyrtec every day - year round.
During peak allergy season I add an OTC drug.

Probably the change in heating systems from your apartment to your home. Go to the doc and get some Nasonex. It works wonders for me. This is a bad season for me. I'm allergic to EVERYTHING...including pine trees, which makes homes with real Christmas trees unbearable.

Acupuncture...seriously!Find a dr. who practices medical acupuncture...two little tiny needles in your ears, and you're good for about a month...until the needles fall out. And you forget to make an appointment to go back to the dr...and then you end up with a sinus infection...AGAIN!I also use the Nasonex daily, and Mucinex D almost daily...yeah, I've got 'em bad!

Hope I can give you a few useful tips... I take Chlorpheniramine before bed and run a humidifier during the night. Also I use a steriod nasal spray called Nasacort, keeps the sinuses open. I buy generic claritin and take as needed but pull out the big guns when the nasty headache comes on. When it comes to allergy headaches my favorite headache pain reliever is Excedrin Migrane with a Chlorpheniramine tablet, that and a hot wash cloth and I'm good to go in a hour or so. Another tip would be to buy dust mite covers for your pillows and mattress, this made a huge improvement and you can get them from WM.Hope you feel better soon!

I had a sinus headache that lasted 5 days a couple of weeks ago. Not fun at all. I tried the pressure points & that gave me some relief but it only lasted a short time.
