I would sell them.  Of course, I'm not a baseball fan so I wouldn't have bought them. :)  Now, if it were Stanley cup tickets...I'd probably still sell them.  That's a pretty sweet profit.

You know those Visa/MC commercials? Some things really are priceless. Money isn't every thing.

Personally, I would sell, but that's just cuz I'm not big into sports. For you though, it sounds like it might be a great opportunity and experience so it's a tough one for sure. And knowing that you got there on only spending the $100 is always a good thing! If someone is looking to spend that money for it, than it's probably worth it for you to go.

Good luck!

I guess it would depend on how much of a fan I really was.  And how much I needed the money.  So I am not sure what I would do.  Good luck making a decision.

ok jump ahead a few years till Dd is an adult.  Will she talk about the time dad sold the tickets and got money for something else and what fun that was, or . . . . .
will she still remember years and years from now that she got to go to the first ever in history World Series game for her hometeam.  The fun, the history, the special experience . . . . . .  or just that dad thought money was more important than this wonderful fun thing.

Have you had money before?  Will you get more money?   Will the Rays ever again in their history have a first time in the World Series?   If you really want to go to Niagara Falls, it will still be there (well at least for the next 100 years or so)  Unless you really need the money to live on or for something else equally important, jeez go to the game.

OK off the old ladies soap box.

Since I just balanced my checkbook and paid the Visa, I'd have to go with sell and pocket the money.  If the game is here and sold out, won't it be on tv?  Won't it be on tv either way?  I know nothing compares to the real thing but....

I would sell two, and keep two. That way, a parent and dd could go, get the signatures, and still maybe make it to niagra falls. The best of both worlds! And the signatures would be an awesome memory and collectible to show her kids someday!

Being a DIE HARD sports fan this would be super tough for me. Like Jess, I guess it would have to depend. The Fins has done nothing for years, so if they even make it to a SB and I have tickets..there is NO WAY I would sell.

Also, I agree that while the extra money would definetly be nice, if your daughter is that into it, I say going to a World Series game of her beloved team will mean memories for a lifetime.

tough call! Good luck with your decision!!

If you could sell 2 and keep 2 so you and dd could go, that would be the best answer. If not, then I say go to the game since that was what you had intened to do before the offer was made. Yes it's a lot of money, and yes it would be nice to make that big of a profit, but sometimes the memories and experience are worth more.

Good luck making the decision.

Would the experience of going to a world series game be 'priceless'?  In 1995, the Cleveland Indians went to the World Series for the 1st time in over 45 years.  I had tickets and would not have sold them for any price...it is one of my best, most special memories.
