Wow, for so many reasons, lol! Sorry I missed this at the time - actually I did read the first few posts but didn't go 'til it got interesting, lol.
Jaime! Pam! Flap! Jules! LESLIE!!! (Hey there's a thread about a new 'Wanderslut' line, it made me miss you!!) I'm friends w/Jess on FB so feel like I keep in touch a bit w/her but would love to see the rest of you more (here or there).
Trying to address things in order... so cool to see all you 'old' folks back, lol! (Hopefully some will come back to read the rest of the thread...?) We miss you! (Well some of us anyway.) As Laura said yes we still have a NSD crop but we also have awesome monthly challenges (like, 20+). Check out the board a bit & you'll see what's going on. Lots of silly games (like Scattergories & such), lots of discussion! There's a daily 'Good morning' thread & we've just had some others started back up recently (daily scrap- and other related questions). Gallery, store, same ol'! My first Gallery post was 2007 - definitely 'fun' to see how our styles have changed.
In Nancy's defense, the question posed to regulars was not until the 2nd page - most people who don't know the first few posters wouldn't have gone that far. However, Nancy, I was really surprised you took so much offense at that! We are certainly silly around here (and you of all people are *not* boring!!) and it seemed to me obvious they were just joking around. Some of the more recent comments by 'regulars' have been much, much "meaner" than any of the silly chat stuff going on earlier. You guys know me & know I love you, but in the midst of saying how friendly & accepting the board is now you're awfully unfriendly, lol! It was very obvious to me that some of them didn't even know the CT is gone so no, that wasn't their 'motivation' (& a few others were on it). And there is sooooo much going on on our message boards besides scrapbooking, obviously. It's not about "who can make the longest thread" - really? What about the tons of "I want to get to x level, ask me questions" threads? I see very little difference between many of our discussions and theirs.
If any of the OP's from this thread have gotten this far, I hope you will come back & join some of our converstaions - I know you don't take 'offense' easily but you certainly might feel unwanted after a few of the things said here. Not all of us feel that way & I wanted to make that known!
