I have done the reindeer food before but never heard about the rest. what a lovely idea! To cold here to sit outside but we will be leaving reindeer food out on Christmas Eve. I have a small herd of six deer roaming our farm so I'm sure they will come eat it...I will have reindeer tracks hahaha!
That is so cool. We do magic reindeer food too, but that is because since my DS was old enought to talk he has told us that Rudolph brings his presents, not Santa. We put out magic reindeer food, hay and water. He was 8 years old before we left Santa cookies and milk. Have to get some hay this week for the deer.Have FUN! I am sure we will.

I have never heard of this. Can I ask a dumb question, how do the reindeer not eat the glitter and only the oats? We always leave a plate of Carrots for them beside Santa's plate of Cookies and glass of milk.
LOL, I know that, but I know Bella will ask. This girl doesn't miss a thing! One of her movies from Santa had a Walmart logo on it and she says to me, "Did Santa get this from Walmart? How come he didn't make it?" Seriously????????
Awww - that's a great tradition!!
