Oh my !! I am back to WA but I spent time in Texas !! I thought it rained here ?!!! Texas has wicked downpours !!
I am saying a prayer for all of you !! Waiting to hear from Brandy! My kids are North of San Antonio, but they work at night !! I am pretty sure they are OK so far !

Thank you. Yes I lived in Washington state. It's a constant drizzle there. The problem with Texas is when it rains it's a monsoon. Our city cannot keep up with the drainage for this capacity of rain. It comes in one week and doesn't stop. The water collects horribly. Houston gets hit so hard everytime. It finally stop for a bit. I'm hoping it stays that way so we can catch our breath. Also rescue those stuck in the flood areas.

Here in East Texas, we had a storm blow through in the middle of the night again.  My dogs let me know it's here.  One goes in the closet and the other happily gets to get into be with me and snuggles and calms down.  All clear now.  I know it is much worse South of here.

No rain here at all. Just nasty humid (even for this Texan).

I heard Eastern Texas is getting hammered pretty bad and flooding is horrible.I have an aunt who lives in Livingston and is surrounded by a lake now. My grandparents live with her too. But they have plenty of supplies and are okay right now.

Glad you are ok Brandy. Wasn't sure how far down south the weather was hitting. The rain has slowed down for now. Keeping fingers crossed it will lift for the rest of the day. Texas is huge. Different climate in different areas lol
