But my desk is in shambles. Yesterday, I finished my tag for Stacy’s pre NSD challenge and also cut out a bunch of doilies for one of Brandy’s challenges. And vacuumed all those little bits up. Also had to make a birthday card for DH’s birthday today. I had 2 big orders come in from what I ordered in March. 49and Market. Summer orders from SS and Pebbles.. Trying to have a no spend April, which is almost done. Got photos ordered a couple of weeks ago, too. Hope you enjoy your crafty weekend and get lots accomplished.
I also printed out the schedule and planner pages. Should be heelpful. Sent in my Bingo words.
Thanks, Valerie. Planning to take him out for lunch today. Baked his favourite pumpkin pie for him yesterday!
my room is a shambles. i may or may not worry about that. i don't eat in that room--don't trust myself with any food in there! i have plenty to drink, tons of photos and the ability to print more, tons of adhesive, certainly have tons of supplies (although i do have an order that should be coming soon) and that's about the extent of my prep. i won't be here for everything, but may still print the schedule (or be lazy and instead of changing my inks, just handwrite lol).
i'm ready!
i'm ready!

Snacks? There's always snacks here lol. I have my stash of dark chocolate, Oreo thins, cheddar cheese sticks, and yes the big order of Thin Mint and Shortbread Girl Scout Cookies that came in last month! Lots of Sparkling Ice and Pure Leaf tea to drink. As for a clean scrap room, is it ever really clean? lol. Right now it is in the best shape it has been in in a long time, but I still need to clear the big table and put some things away. As for photos, I print my own, and although my large format photo printer refuses to stay on (stupid error code), I can print photos with my new EcoTank. So I'm good to go! Hoping to get out of this stupid rut I have been in.
I cleared my tables off yesterday, so my scrap room is good to go. Keeping track of all the hints, teasers, etc.
Photos are ready to go. Got plenty of stash to use up. Adhesive is good.
I don't eat in my room, and I'm not much of snacker either. If I do get hungry between breakfast and dinner, it's either carrot/celery sticks with some ranch dip or a few crackers and some cheese.
I work Friday, so will pop in when I can. I'll buy groceries on Friday morning and will figure out the food situation then. Either go out to eat Friday night or something quick here. Saturday morning, during my shift, DH will make his famous homemade strawberry waffles. He's been doing that for NSD and any quarterly crops I host with my girlfriends since 2009

Oh I'm sooo excited!! I scrap in my living room so it'll look about the same as it did last year - VERY lived in lol!
I have an enormous arsenal of goodies to play with, so I'm all set there! Some kits made, but plenty to pull from! I ordered more photos and I have plenty of glue sticks in case I do run out of adhesive! I got some more white cardstock this week, too!
I'm lucky that I usually don't have to worry about having specific snacks- my boyfriend keeps cereal bars AND chocolate for me! He is also an excellent cook! We may eat out for some meals lol I haven't gotten too far into meal planning.
I JUST KNOW I'm super excited! Games, chatting, challenges, oh my!

Loved reading everyones message above and how excited we are all getting. My craft room is tidy and I'll vacuum because I love it when I start of clean. Then I feel organized! LOL I still need to print pictures, but I have the amazing schedule ACOT provided printed and their cool planner sheets to keep me on track!
I'm so excited. I did just learn my daughter is planning in a tennis tournament on Saturday, which nothing could normally pull me away from NSD, but this will. I just love watching her play. She is a freshman on the varsity school team, and the growth and confidence change we have seen in here in just the last couple of months is incredible.
I did take Friday off and snacks...my house always has it. My husband is so cool about this weekend he will typically grab a pizza or sandwiches. And I will have plenty of iced mochas and cherry coke! My 2 favorite drinks!!
Let's go!!!

I am trying! I am cleaning up and putting away stuff from my weekend scrap finally. The floor is messy but I might not clean it, it will get messy for NSD anyhow? I can clean after. Priorities. I am supposed to avoid stairs and bending my hip (and just how just how am I supposed to sit and scrap???). My scrap room is in the basement. It is a minor surgery but I have to behave for it to be successful. I don’t want a redo! I think I can coerce my daughter to go buy snacks for “us”, lol.

That is worth taking Saturday off, time flies and opportunities like this mean a lot. Be sure to take pictures!! LOL. I was sad to see no DB prizes. They sure have plenty, though! Your husband sounds good, mine is too. Enjoy!
I just realized I was low on white paper and ordered some. Sounds like you have NSW National Scrapbok WEEKEND - haha) all figured out! Enjoy!JollyHollyScraps wrote: ↑Mon Apr 29, 2024 2:27 pmOh I'm sooo excited!! I scrap in my living room so it'll look about the same as it did last year - VERY lived in lol!

Now I hope DH and I both stay healthy!
Amen to staying healthy! You sound all ready, I have an Epson printer I bought maybe a year ago, I LOVE it! I still will order bulk photos, but this fills in for challenges I want to do or an extra photo I need since I am scrapping 3 kids.
I went to Scrapbook Expo over the weekend and bought out the stalls - I definitely have ALL of the supplies I'll need. Just need more photos (lovin' the photo scavenger hunt - just gotta print them!) I also have a bunch of tray tables set up (for a cutting station, drying station, etc.). No room to sleep but that's ok! I plan to survive on sugar and coffee. This year I am determined not to lose my bits and pieces - I still have my inchies from last year that I finally found.
I am excited. I cleaned my room, somewhat. I have been looking at the hints and schedules. Can I ask a question? How do the Facebook events work? I am following and joined ACOT Facebook. What do we do on there?

I'm on my way for those waffles Brandy!!!
I spent last weekend cleaning my scrap table and putting away the piles of papers that have stacked up. Also put finished pages into albums for my great nieces and nephew. Ordered more photos too. Did some page preplanning and have 5 or 6 options depending on challenges.

Wow! I am impressed how prepared you are!

My sister and I decided a few years ago to share a house. She spent the winter organizing ALL of my scrap supplies, crafts sewing, etc . Today I said out loud but more to myself, "I wonder if I have any tropical floral paper." Poof !!! Magically it appeared. She knows where it all is! She even separated into those kind of flowers, vs plants, trees, cutout sheets, she has been amazing and I'm spoiled. So yes I'm ready.
I usually have iced tea and cheese slices for snacks.

I still need to pick up some white cardstock. I was tempted to grab a couple of paper collections but decided to wait for NSD sales! I still have to vacuum my craftroom floor and go through the schedule. I don't really do snacks but reading about everyone's snack and beverage choices is making rethink that!
Doing all the crafty things.
I have the snacks lol but that's it so far. I still need to tidy up my craft space.
