It's evening now but I've had a very full day and enjoyed it so much. Dh's brother, wife and one daughter came down from St Louis MO for a few days and we went to the beach today. Perfect day, weather wise and the water was cool but so refreshing once you got used to it. Clear, not too rough and being summer is over, not so crowded either. Relaxed listening to the waves, walked the beach looking for shells and even got into the cold water myself. I've always been one that cannot just wade in the water. Gotta get my head wet! Ate Mexican on the way home, shopped a tad for dgs 3rd b day tomorrow and came home and ate again. Leftover in the fridge from last night's fish fry that the other brother brought and cooked up for us. We had a house full yesterday and all the relatives here came over to see our MO relatives.
I'm exhausted but a such a good tired feeling. They have only tomorrow left. We will do the b'day party and a pumpkin carving too. I'm terrible at doing the pumpkins but I'll be ready with my camera for scrapping pics!
Oh that roast beef dinner sounds so good and is a fave of mine too when the weather cools. We are finally getting some coolness. Not enough to do without the a/c all day but can open the door up in the mornings for some nice fresh air. Hope eveyone enjoyed their day! I'm not on here much lately and I miss it!
