How do Sure Cuts Alot and Make The Cut work? Can I only cut out text with it, or can I cut out my own designs as well?

You can cut your own designs too. There are A LOT of svg files out there that you can cut also. I forget the program I use that I draw my designs in...but then you can save them as an svg file and cut away! LOVE LOVE LOVE the cricut!

Well, I think that answers my question - the Cricut Expression it is! Now, do I need to bother with the Gypsy or the JukeBox? I'm guessing not, since I'll probably create/download files to cut...

The jukebox has never done anything for me....The gypsy would be nice if you have alot of the cartridges. I have the older version of the SCAL so I am sure the second one is better and even easier to use!
