Widmore was leader of the Others before Ben, that's why he & Ben hated each other. And remember how they used to talk about not being allowed to kill each other? That's the same deal w/Jacob and Esau/Smokey/faux-Locke (I think Jack was right about the bomb).

Yes dh and I watched on dvd and we were up all hours of the night lol! My 2 year old son started saying "bad robot" lol no but seriously we didn't let them watch but he caught the end a few times lol. We would put them to bed and run over to the tv and put the next dvd in lol!!
lol 0 my girls say that too! And, we don't let them watch cause they caught the smoke monster once and it was hard to explain that it wasn't a tornado and wasn't real.
We have all the seasons on dvd and yes, you give up life while watching!
