Our city has a garage sale at the community center and last year the booths were only $5; just found out this year they're $40! So, I won't be doing that!

Don't remember this - when is the garage sale and where is it located (which community center). I like going to garage sales. You can find good stuff with good prices. I am interested in going. Our neighborhood community is having our garage sale on 5/22. If I have time I might try to thin out some of my stash.

Well I actually live in Carmel, not Indy - it's at the Monon Community Center, the new-ish park near 116th. Our neighborhood sales are actually this week, I didn't find out in time to participate this year but I'm kind-of glad because it rained today & I've been helping w/stuff going on at church anyway. I got home after work yesterday in time to hit a few of the sales before they closed & did find a few things. I love them too! My parents are antique dealers so it's in the blood. I've found great (& hardly used) stuff at Carmel garage sales!
